Yes...she was in it!! I feel like it worked a little...but was not really needed at all! The movie was WAY different from the book for sure! I get that they needed it to be a little more than just a voyage, but they did not to change everything that they did!! I enjoyed the ending though, as far as them reading the edge of the ocean and all that. I was for sure crying like crazy as I do at the end of every Narnia movie!! I have heard they are going to make The Magicians Nephew...but I am not sure how true that still is based on how poorly VOTDT did in theaters... I wish Disney would have kept it for this movie instead of Dreamworks!!
Oh, have you heard? A new movie company(I don't remember which one) has picked up The Silver Chair! I am hesitantly excited that they are continuing the series, but I really really hope they don't mess it up the way they did with VDT!!
REALLY!?!?! Hmmm...... I will have to look into that... Last I had heard they were talking about working on getting TMN made next... And I LOVED that book, so I was excited to see it on screen for sure... I'm a little worried too about it being a new company working on it.....since it was a very clear change when it was no longer Disney...the sound track being the most disappointing thing for me for sure!!! As much as things in the movie were annoying....I listen to the sound tracks for the first two about a million times more than I watch the movie...so when I got the third one I was MEGA disappointed. It no longer sounded magical and all Narnia.... :(
I totally agree!! The soundtrack was completely different than the previous two!! LWW and PC at least sounded reminiscent of each other, much like the LOTR soundtracks. I have probably only listened to the VDT soundtrack 3-4times.
You should check out narniafans.com! That is where I go for all my Narnia related news. I was on there almost daily before VDT came out, but there has not been as much news lately, so I only check it every couple weeks now.

Interesting.... I will for sure go see it and support Narnia always and everything, but I really wonder how good it will be..... I always felt the book was really slow and kind of all over the place with everything happening in it.... And it was a little creepy to watch in the BBC version... it was just WEIRD! haha But, maybe they will do a good job with it since there is a lot of travel in it, and giants...so maybe it will end up being kind of like The Hobbit enough that people will want to see it and it will do better in theaters than the last one??????? eeek....
I have never seen the BBC version, and never intend to! Same with the cartoon version of The Hobbit and lotr. As much as they ruin the books with a modern film, those versions still just sound like a nightmare!
I will go see The Silver Chair in theaters when it comes out, and rant about everything they changed, and recommend all my friends go see it, and look forward to the DVD release, where I can fastforward all the scenes I did not like and fall totally in love with it :P

hahaha love it!! Yeah, even if it is not my favorite movie, I want to support all things Narnia and encourage people to read the book and everything! They are just too good for people to base everything off of the books....
Oh, and the BBC versions are interesting....really spot on to the books....in a not so creative way... We have them at work so I took them home one weekend and watched them all... It was exhausting! haha

As for a lot of the other parts of the movie...they really tried to make it all more epic and amazing, totally changing the whole point of the voyage, the attitude of the entire book, and also added a lot of other scenes in the various places they made it too....
