I read it over the previous weekend to refresh myself before the movie. Which I LOVED!!!

message 117: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie Hi everyone - are you all busy reading?! :) Time to add our April shelves :)

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Leaders I need the totals by the 5th please!

message 119: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes! It's April first! Please make sure you have all your March books on your shelf. I will be posting them later today.

Okay....first theme if you want to take part. I was thinking April could be sequels. Try to finish those series you may have started but have to finished.

Sorry there was no theme for March it was super crazy with family and school.

How are we all doing with our reading? I'm going to start checking in way more.

Happy April fools day!

message 120: by [deleted user] (new)

So I have posted my books from March! Please inform me when you have your shelf ready for me to look at so I can post them and then send them in.

message 121: by [deleted user] (new)

Loni I was looking at your profile page...do you have a shelf for March? And did you read any in Feb?

message 122: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie Lindsey wrote: "So I have posted my books from March! Please inform me when you have your shelf ready for me to look at so I can post them and then send them in."

My March shelf is current. I have been keeping it updated with each new book read (minus any books that were under 100 pages.)

message 125: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks! I will post what you read on page one under message 5 then we just have to wait for Loni.

I think anyone who is a reader has series they need to finish! I know I have series I want to start but I have been putting it off because of the ones I want to finish first.

message 127: by [deleted user] (new)

HI EVERYONE! Just a reminder please make sure all your books are YA if you don't know you can ask me or ask Jackie. Or ask me and I will ask her.

message 128: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie It's quiet in here girls! ;) How are you all doing??

message 129: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey! Sorry I have been gone for this month. Life has thrown a lot at me. But it's starting to slow down. I'm trying to get my April count going.

How are you doing?

message 130: by [deleted user] (new)

I feel like a bad leader but after this week I will be better.

message 131: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie Lindsey life *happens* - trust me, I am trying to get caught up here, there, and everywhere as well. ;) Let's let reading remain the one thing that doesn't stress us out! :)

And you are a GREAT leader - seriously, thank YOU!! xoxo

message 132: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks. I swear if I could not read I would be going crazy. Reading has saved me these past few weeks.

message 133: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey Guys! WOW April is almost over. It went by fast!

I was thinking for a theme next month and was thinking either standalones or start a new series! What do you think?

April went by ridiculously fast! I didn't even get a chance to read that much! Oh well, I'll have more time in May. :)

I think either of those sound really good. How have ya'll been doing?

message 135: by [deleted user] (new)

Did not get as much read as I wanted. I too will have more time in May.

message 136: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie GAH! How can it be April 30th already??!! Time to get up those May bookshelves!

Oh and I'm good with either theme as well Lindsey! :)

message 137: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes April went by FAST!!!

Theme for May Standalone

Please try to have your April shelf complete so I can submit our books this weekend.

message 138: by AnnaMarie (new)

message 141: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments Lindsey wrote: "Posted all our April books!!! How are we doing for MAY??"

So far so good. I'm going to start rereading The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices series in anticipation for City of Heavenly Fire. Can't believe my favorite series is coming to an end!

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) That's what I'm doing! I am on Clockwork Princess right now! And I am also on City of Falling Angels!

message 143: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Mitchell (bookluvr34) | 49 comments I am officially starting City of Bones tomorrow! I have kind of been putting it off because I DON'T WANT TO SAY GOODBYE! I have dedicated so much of my time and energy to these characters. I feel like I know them personally and now their story is ending. * uncontrollably sobbing*

message 144: by [deleted user] (new)

ME TOO! I'm starting Saturday because all my school work will be done.

message 145: by AnnaMarie (last edited May 08, 2014 06:09AM) (new)

AnnaMarie You girls make me want to revisit the series - it's been a long time...and I don't think I ever did get to The Infernal Devices one!!!

message 146: by [deleted user] (new)

You should. We all would be reading the same this month!

message 147: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie I just may - my daughter has read most of them, so all I would have to do is download them to my Kindle. ;)

May is starting off pretty crazy and my reading is taking a hit :-P - boo hiss. Just gotta get through the next couple weeks!!

message 148: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm the same. I have several projects due between now and Monday along with finals. So once those are done I can read more. I plan on starting the first one Saturday!

message 149: by AnnaMarie (new)

AnnaMarie I'm coaching Girls on the Run right now :) - we just had out Mock 5K this week and the actual event is coming up on the 18th. My son is also making his First Communion this weekend and we've had a busy week filled with church commitments as well as school and softball/baseball/t-ball activities - and I still have a house to get in order before company arrives. :-P

I think my Mother's Day present should be to lock myself in a room uninterrupted with my Kindle and a supply of iced tea. :)

message 150: by [deleted user] (new)

That sounds like it would be a great gift. May is always so busy!
