Are you sure? The first chapter talks about wolves.

Mir | 802 comments How about

There's also The Seer and the Sword (Healer and Seer, #1) by Victoria Hanley , although the background isn't green.

Maybe not that book, but one of them?

SparksofEmber | 957 comments It can't be Kristin Cashore's Fire. The story doesn't match at all and it's definitely not an Elementary level book.

Abigail (handmaiden) | 391 comments The Extra-Ordinary Princess, by Carolyn Q. Ebbitt?

The Extra-Ordinary Princess by Carolyn Q. Ebbitt The Extra-Ordinary Princess by Carolyn Q. Ebbitt

I've read The Stolen One, and it doesn't fit the op's description. It is historical fiction set in Elizabethan times, with maybe a tiny hint of paranormal.

Dalton Wolf (DaWolf) | 7 comments First, I think it's great that there is a list of red-haired girl books.

Second,

How about Bronwyn's Bane?

I don't think she was hunting wolves, but fighting off an enemy horde (imaginary) in the beginning. Also, she is cursed with not being able to tell the truth.
