Jada got her stuff and began to drive home, it was silent.

Spencer got back to his apartment and checked his phone.

She was not at all paying attention driving, she was dazing off.

He read the message and frowned. Spencer didn't answer it, grabbing his bag and walking up the stairs to his apartment.

Suddenly, a car came out of a driveway in front of her and she smashed into the car in front of her. She felt the hard whiplash and the airbag poofed out, pushing her back. She gasped for air, and tried to get out of the car, to see in everyone in the other car was okay.

He put his phone in his pocket. Spencer set his backpack inside the apartment before leaving again.

She felt a sharp pain in her chest, but she got out anyway, to check the other car, she pulled out her phone and called 911.

Spencer got in the car, planning on just driving around for a little or going to a gym, just something to distract him.

Both of the people in the car were conscious but one was sure their arm was broken, a few minutes later the police showed up.

He closed his eyes, sitting in the turned off car.

She gave the police her insurance information and the pain in her chest made her bend over.

Spencer sat there for a few, taking deep breaths.

"Um, excuse me... I think something's wrong in my chest..." She said to an officer.

A female officer came over to her. They helped her over to where the paramedics were, one of them examining the other person's arm.

She was taken to the hospital, and now the pain was so bad, her eyes were blotchy.

Spencer eventually started his car after answering her text. He replied with, 'I don't want to talk about it over text.. Can we meet up or something?'

"Well... I am currently in the hospital, so if you want to come here..." She texted.

'What? What happened?' Spencer asked, suddenly worried.

"Car crash..." She responded.

'Are you alright..?' Spencer bit his lip nervously.

"I don't know yet."

'Okay.. I'll be there soon...' Spencer sighed

She set her phone down and waited for her x-ray results to get in.

He drove to the hospital.

She saw his car pull up in the parking lot and a wave of relief washed over her.

Spencer parked and looked at the hospital. He took a shaky breath, close to having a panic attack. The last time he was at the hospital, he spent a week there recovering.

Her chest was still hurting, and she was scared of the results.

Spencer grabbed a hoodie from the backseat and pulled it on. He got out of the car and walked toward the hospital.

Tears were beginning to form in her eyes, rolling down her cheeks. She was scared.

He asked a nurse what room she was in and was sent down the hall. Spencer took a shaky breath and walked to the room.

"Oh, thank God you're here... I'm so scared," She said, seeing Spencer, she was shaking.

Spencer quietly entered the room. His jaw was swollen and starting to bruise and his shoulders were shaking.

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked him.

Spencer shrugged. "Just bad memories from every single time I've been here.." He said quietly.

"oh... I'm sorry," She siad, "here, come sit down, tell me."

Spencer sat in a chair by the bed and bit his lip. "It's a long story, and it's not important right now." He said softly, his eyes darting around the room.

"I have nothing else to do, I'm waiting for my results..." She said and placed a hand on her chest.

Spencer nodded. "I can tell you the story but I don't want to tell it here so.. I'll tell you some other time. Okay?" He bit his lip nervously.

"Okay," She smiled but it quickly faded, and she grabbed her side.

Spencer frowned. He wished he could help her.

The doctor came in the room, and Jada sat up, eager to see her results.

Spencer was silent, looking over at the doctor before back at Jada.

The doctor told Jada about how her rib had broken and it had punctured her lung. Jada's eyes started watering, and she called her mom.

Spencer frowned, listening to the doctor. He looked over at Jada.

"My mom is on her way.." Jada said and sighed. "how much is medical treatment?" She asked the doc
tor, and he responded with more than Jada had in her bank account.

Spencer sighed softly. "It'll be alright..." He whispered to her.
