"What makes you say that?" She said, "we have some originality. Stop being so judgemental, God," Jada said.

Spencer sighed. "I'm not being judgmental. I'm being honest. A lot of populars typically do stuff like making others do their work." He said quietly, putting his glasses back on. He bit his lip, waiting to see her reaction.

"Yeah maybe. But again, not all of us are like that," She said and started writing down more notes.

Spencer sighed. "Okay." He looked over what they needed to do. "We're gonna have to do a lot of this work outside of class..." He muttered.

"That's fine. I have cheerleading until 5, so you could come to my house at 5:30, does that work for you?" She said.

Spencer bit his lip. "Yeah. I can come over, not for long though. I have to be at work by 7:30.." He sighed, running a Hand through his hair.

"Alright, where do you work?" She asked.

"The Italian Place on 16th street." Spencer replied. He looked around the classroom again, biting his lip.

"Cool, maybe I'll go there sometime," she said and smiled.

Spencer shrugged. "Okay." He looked over at her.

"You okay...?" She asked.

"Yeah. Just tired." Spencer lied easily. He absentmindedly traced over the tattoo on his left forearm, scanning through the textbook page.

"What does that mean? I like it," she said. "Sorry for so many questions..."

"It's fine. And it means What are you waiting for?" Spencer smiled faintly but it quickly faded again. He took some more notes.

"I love it!" She exclaimed and took his arm to take a closer look at it.

Spencer bit his lip, letting her look at it. He kept reading, lost in thought.

"Oh sorry... I should have asked..." She said and put his arm back down. "Sooo.. what was your favorite emperor?"

Spencer shrugged. "Not sure yet. None of them seem any different from the others." He sighed. "What about you?"

"I'm not sure I even know what all of them have done," She laughed.

Spencer rolled his eyes, muttering something under his breath as he kept reading. He glanced up at the clock on the wall.

"What? Are you mad at me?" She asked

"Wow I really need to work on not asking questions so much..." She thought to herself.

Spencer didn't answer, focused on reading and taking notes. He glanced up at the clock occasionally.

"Whatever," She said and began working on her notes again.

After a few minutes, the bell rang, Ending the class. Spencer closed his notebook and textbook, putting them both in his backpack. "Can I get your address?" He asked her.

"Uh, yeah," She said as she wrote down her address. "My number's there too if you need to contact me," She said and smiled, "See ya later!" She walked out of the classroom.

Spencer nodded. "Okay, thanks." He put the paper in his pocket, walking to his next class.

Jada met up with her two friends, Quinn and Olive; both cheerleaders.
"OMG I'm so excited for cheer today!" She said.

Spencer silently walked to the library since he didn't have a class.

Cheerleading practice was ending. Jada grabbed her things and headed back to her house. She had totally forgotten about Spencer. When she got home she got in the shower.

Spencer grabbed his backpack and his keys, running a hand through his still damp hair. He looked around his apartment before leaving,
Locking the door behind him. He had only lived in that apartment for about a month, since he turned sixteen, but it felt more like home then where he was before.

Jada got out of the shower and walked to her room, in her towel. She started drying her hair.

Spencer got in his car, an old jeep and looked at her address again. He drove to her house, biting his lip.

Jada got finished getting dressed and put her hair in a bun. She was wearing her sweatpants and sweatshirt. Her hair was in a bun.

Spencer pulled up at her house. He grabbed his backpack and walked to the front door. He bit his lip. He was wearing black jeans and a tucked in black button down shirt, the dress code for work.

She turned on the TV in the den and started watching Pretty Little Liars, her new addiction. She grabbed some chips off the counter.

Spencer knocked on the door. He shifted nervously on his feet.

"Crap," She thought, she had forgotten about Spencer! She quickly turned the TV off and brushed the chip crumbs off her sweatshirt.
She opened the door.
"Hi!" She said.

Spencer smiled lightly. "Hey." He said quietly.

"Sorry I'm so underdressed... I kinda forgot you were coming," She laughed "here, come in!" She said and opened the door wider. "Oh! I like that shirt!"

"Thanks. You're fine. I just have to wear this for work.." Spencer shrugged. He looked around.

"Oh cool, here, the office is this way," She said and lead him to a small room with a computer and a desk in it.
"Do you want anything to eat or drink?" She asked.

Spencer followed her. "No thanks." He shook his head. He sat on the floor, taking his laptop out of his bag.

"Alright," She said and smiled as she sat down at her own desk, turning the computer on.

Spencer quickly booted up his laptop, biting his lip. He opened an Internet tab

"Sooo.." Jada said, trying to start a conversation.

Spencer glanced up at her. "So.." He repeated with a light smile.

"What's up," She said and laughed.

Spencer looked up. "A ceiling." He replied before looking back at his laptop. He typed something quickly, his fingers flying across the keys.

"Ha> Ha. Ha, but seriously. Tell me about yourself. You're at my house and I don't even know your last name." She said, grinning at his stupid joke.

"Mitchell." Spencer replied, still typing quietly. He glanced over at her, biting his lip.
