She took the pizza rolls out of the oven
"Damn, they burned," She said.

Spencer frowned some.

"Oh well, I guess I won't eat," She said and threw the pizza rolls away.

Spencer sighed quietly. He looked at his computer.

"Whatcha working on?" She asked and leaned over his computer.

"Homework.." He shrugged. Spencer scanned through the essay he was typing.

"Looks good," she said.

((plot twist?))

He shrugged. "It's almost two pages too short though.," Spencer sighed.

"Trying adding a lot of details, teachers love that, plus, it makes it longed," she replied and smiled.

"Yeah. I know." Spencer bit his lip.

((longer*))

"Yup," She sighed.

Spencer looked at her. "So, what's the deal with you and Connor?" He asked quietly.

"Uh, well basically he wants me back, but I don't know if I can trust him. He says he won't hurt me again how I don't know how to trust him," She said and leaned against the counter, crossing her arms.

"Then you shouldn't. Don't take him back. If he's hurt you once, what's gonna stop him from doing it again.." He said softly. Spencer watched her.

"Yeah, I guess you have a point. But I couldn't bring myself to tell him no, he was begging like a puppy out there," She said and gave him a half smile.

Spencer nodded. He bit his lip.

"I should call him. Thanks for that," She said "I'll be right back," and she disappeared into the next room. She dialed Connor's number.

Spencer nodded. He looked back at his laptop.

"Hey... Connor? Can we talk?" She asked.

Connor sighed. "Yeah. I guess."

"Uh.. I don't think that we can... see each other anymore," She said, and waited for the answer.

"Why?" He asked. "Not even an hour has passed.." He muttered.

"Yeah well I've changed my mind," She said.

"Jada," his voice cracked some.

"Connor, please don't make me do this," She said and looked down.

"I'm not making you do anything. This was your choice." Connor answered.

"Okay, okay, well I think my final decision is to not date you, I'm sorry," She said and hung up. She clutched the phone and leaned against the wall.

Connor tried to say something when she hung up. He cursed and threw the phone.

Jada came back in the room, "I did it," She said and pursed her lips.

"Okay." Spencer shrugged, looking at her.

"Sorry, it's kinda a big deal for me..." She said and looked down.

"It's fine.. You did what was best for you and that's all that really mattered." He replied.

She smiled, no one ever really cared about what was best for her. "Thank you," She said.

"Why are you thanking me? I haven't done anything.." Spencer asked her.

"Yeah, well i'm pretty sure you just saved me from a whole lot of drama and crying," She said.

"You saved yourself.. I didn't do anything." Spencer checked the time. He sighed and shut down his laptop.

"Okay well you helped me save myself, give yourself some credit," She smiled.

"I really didn't though." Spencer argued. He messed with the chain around his neck.

"Okay, whatever," She said and laughed.

Spencer closed his laptop and slipped it into his backpack.

"You gotta go?" She asked.

"It's getting late. And I'm planning on actually coming to school tomorrow." He shrugged.

She chuckled," Okay, see you at school then."

"See you." Spencer stood up and grabbed his backpack.

"Bye," She said.

"Bye.." Spencer quietly left and went out to his car.

Jada was at school, working on some posters for the big football game that was coming up. She was told to come early.

Spencer arrived at school somewhat early. He was planning on talking to his teachers about what he'd missed.
