Did anyone else read this?

I know it is a YA (Young Adult) book but I thought it was a good read. Fast and light. It may have been a little too YA for me but I did like how it flowed and how the characters were well built. I love Carlos Ruiz Zafon but I thought this was not his best and I think he beileved it too. Anyone else wanna chime in?

Agreed, I like Zafon's style and he did a great job keeping the reader's interest, but I just didn't like the genre. I'm not really into wizardry and the likes. I might try something by him that written for adults. The kids will probably love this book.

I read this book on the last day of the month. I found it good but like you guys I didn't love it as much as Shadow in Wind his adult book but Zafon is a talented writer and it was a good but not great book.

Good thing it was quick! lol
