There could be younger members here, and we definitely don't want them to pick up any foul language. So don't go swearing ever single comment. You can mention that your character swore, like 'frustrated, Kennedy swore' but don't actually type out the word. Crap, darn, and hell are acceptable.

Nobody wants to hear about how your characters did it! Again, there could be younger members here. We don't want or need them to read explicit content. And Goodreads doesn't allow groups with explicit sexual content. If a mod sees anything sexual beyond kissing, it will be deleted, and you will probably be removed from the group.

Don't start some kind of huge fight, or be mean to someone, or call someone out rudely. We're all just here to have fun! Someone does something you don't like? Mention it politely, if necessary, but be forgiving. Let is slip.

The rule explains itself. But also, don't use text talk during roleplay. Use proper grammar. Text talk can be hard to understand. It's not hard to use proper grammar. If a mod sees you using less than three lines per roleplay post, they'll ask you to make it longer. And if you can't think of what else to write, be creative!

Nobody likes a flawless, or 'perfect' character. It just makes roleplay less fun. Please, give your character some flaws! It makes them so much more interesting!

Powerplay is a big no-no! It ruins roleplay. There are many different kinds of powerplay. Such as:
Deciding a character that isn't yours' actions.
Bursting into a roleplay, making something happen, then immediately leaving.
Having an invincible character.

Mods approve characters for good reasons. We don't want some kind of weird, crazy creature rampaging around the school as a result of being unapproved! We understand that we can't always approve the characters immediately, but we have good reasons for that too. Maybe no mods are online at the time (in which case you just need to be patient) or your character isn't ready to be approved yet (in which case you need to work on your character some more).

Remember, we're all here to have fun! Goodreads and roleplay is just an extra thing for entertainment, so whatever happens in real life should always come first. We know there's a bunch of rules, and you may not like all of them, but we enforce these rules for the good of the group!
