For starters this question may have spoilers. I read on this website this book could be classified as a teacher/student relationship, but I never thought of Lucas as a teacher even though he was a tutor. He was technically still a student, so wouldn't be an actual teacher would he? What are your thoughts?

Wasn't he the SI teacher? At my school SI instructors can't have relationships with the students because of grades and stuff. I wouldn't call the "teachers" but it is still someone who teaches tutoring classes.
I thought he was a teacher's assistant (he monitored the classes)and that's what made him "off-limits" for dating a student. It didn't really have the normal taboo aspect to me either...he wasn't much older than her. I did like the book though!
