While it's been on my to-read list for years, I'm not sure I ever would have gotten around to reading it if it weren't picked as our monthly group read, so very happy it was - this group's various discussions motivate me to read so many more books from so many different genres than I ever have before joining :]

I have a copy ere at home but it's issuing one page toward the end as I used it for an art project. Oops!
I can still read the beginning until I reach the missing page at the end.

I originally read this novel--Unabridged Audio Edition--in August 1999. I'm currently rereading it on Kindle. Magnificent book. Key had a wonderful way with words that is pure pleasure to read.

Just picked it up from the library, will be starting it tonight :)

My mom has seen the movie but hasn't read the book, and she keeps asking me whether this thing or that thing is the same as in the movie... If I cared more about spoilers, I might be upset, but it's giving us something great to talk about! My mom loves to read as well, but hasn't had time to read much recently, and we generally have very different tastes, so this is wonderful.

Laughter is wine for the soul - laughter soft, or loud and deep, tinged through with seriousness - the hilarious declaration made by man that life is worth living.”
