Em Lost In Books (emlostinbooks) Stopped it after reading around 20%. May be pick it up later.

Brad (glazier) I'll be in on this, not starting it until this weekend though.

Bev (greenginger) | 744 comments I have just finished it Sandra so I will be commenting. Thanks for sorting the threads btw.

Sandra (sleo) | 1913 comments Mark has agreed to lead this discussion, so my apologies, Mark, for barging in. Go ahead and add whatever threads you like. I'm sure it will be interesting, and thanks!

Jon (jonmoss) | 529 comments I started this last night. Finished the first chapter. Interesting so far.

Emmett (emmett13) I just read the first chapter of this earlier today and am already impressed. It looks like it should be a great book, given the fact that the first chapter was already very intriguing/interesting.

Kristin (lysanor) I enjoyed the first chapter. However, I didn't like the second chapter as it was an abrupt change of the story. I'm going to keep reading to see how things pan out.

Do continue. There is a bit of slower moment in the first quarter of the book - where Rachael travels to citadel iirc. But the pacing picks up. Second half of the novel is so intense it will be hard to put it down.

Okay, I'll give it a try after finishing my current read...

Brad (glazier) About 20% into the e-book version, so far I like the way the story is setting up. Leaves lots of possible avenues for it to go. I am interested to see how she handles it. Some interesting characters developing, too early to pick a favorite. I do find the pacing a bit slow; it feels heavy.

Mary Catelli | 815 comments Will be reading it again.

Adrianna [SypherLily] (sypherlily) | 59 comments I have no idea what to expect but I'm psyched and getting my copy tomorrow!

Mark Lawrence (marklawrence) | 117 comments Hey all. I agreed to take part in the discussion, to call it 'leading' would be a step too far though. I read the book a couple of years back so I'll just hang out on the 'finished it' thread.

Nathan Tullis (nathantullis) I'm pretty excited about this book. It's a cold day where I'm at...time to read.

Thanks Mark

Jaqui (jaquimclaughlin) I just started it, and I'm enjoying the style so far. Can't wait to learn more about this 'woerld.'

First impression: it's a lot shorter than I imagined it would be!

Joseph | 1651 comments I actually read it about a year ago and really enjoyed it. When I picked it up, I had heard good things but nothing too specific, so I didn't know, for example, that one of the characters would be a refugee from the "real" world. It was kind of a fun way to approach the book -- not having any idea of where the story was going to go.

Maggie K | 282 comments I am about halfway through-a little bit of a rocky start, but now I am farther into it, I appreciate the original world setting.

Daniel (dward526) one month late, but I am about to start this.

Julie (llpoolej) I have bought this and plan to read it soon. Wouldn't have ever seen it had it not been on this list. Looks like it will be good.
