Boy I must be out of it because when I saw the topic title I thought hardcover, paperback, mass market edition lol. I think I've been studying this biz way too long! :-/
I agree with the previous folk who said it doesn't really matter as long as the story is meaty. A shorter book can read rather long if it's hard to get through and nothing really happens but a longer book can zip by in no time. I love losing myself in a good book. I'm reading a category right now and it feels like a meaty novel because of so much goodies happening in it.
