From This Moment On (De Piaget #9), by Lynn Kurland (Start Date: April 14, 2014) [Kurland's Two Series Combo: De Piaget & The MacLeods]

I do remember reading it. Loved the characters in this one.

What is frustrating for you is awe-inspiring to me, LOL. 85 books so far? That's freaking amazing!

I know right! Lol.

And now for some reason, I have the book on my kindle app, but it won't download. It keeps telling me there is an error.

Yes. Not published date.

This one is starting slow for me. I don't feel very interested in Colin - maybe it's because he smells. Not sure. That just seems weird to me. Why would the author do that?

A lot of people didn't bathe then; they thought it made you sick.

Even though he's smelly I still really liked this one. It had the most humor in it so far.

At least he realized he smelled and cleaned up before being with Ali LOL

He may have bathed but we never heard about her bathing except once! So I guess they really were well suited.
Loved the bedroom scene after they were married. And I loved it when he said he had decided to become the best lover the same way he became the best swordsman. With lots of practice!
But she annoyed me too much when she still thought he was going to kill her. But I loved the scene of her fighting evil Maria. All in all pretty enjoyable!!

Oooops, forgot you hadn't read it yet, LK! Hope I didn't have any spoilers.
I hope it comes soon!!

To avoid being wed to the fiercest man in England, Colin of Berkhamshire, Alienore of Solonge flees her home disguised as Sir Henri, a young knight. After hiding out for nearly two years and serving as an escort for the ever-hungry Lady Sybil, Alienore sees the opportunity for which she has been waiting: once she escorts the recently betrothed Sybil to her new home, she'll run away. But to Alienore's great surprise, Sybil's new fiance turns out to be Colin, the Butcher of Berkhamshire!
As Alienore plots to find some way to yet again escape from Colin, the brutal warrior decides he will teach Henri how to be a "real" knight.
Kurland's latest romance is a deftly plotted delight, seasoned with a wonderfully wry sense of humor and graced with endearing, unforgettable characters, including a trio of healer-witches, a rough-around-the-edges hero who can't understand why all his fiancees flee or faint at the sight of him, and a heroine who discovers she is stronger than she ever imagined.

This is #9 in the De Piaget series, but the fourth book we will read, as we are reading these two intertwining series in chronological order.
There are several different ways to approach these intertwining series (Kurland's Two Series: De Piaget & The MacLeods). We have decided to go by this one, suggested by This series read continues in March. This one is a combination of Medieval Romances and Time Travel. (Some books will not have the Time Travel element.)
