I got to find my book. I'll have to dig through the boxes in the garage. I'm pretty sure it is in the "K" box of authors... but I need someone to move the boxes for me. Man-oh-man! I used to be strong enough for that kind of stuff. **sigh**

Hopefully I will have read the last one by then, lol. I will be done with both team challenges and should be able to read it with everyone else :)

Has everyone started this? I really like Colin. He's got a soft side and I can't wait for Ali to see it.

I'll be starting in the next day or so. I had to finish some books for other challenges. I know I've read this one, but I don't remember it.

I'll be picking it up soon, I hope. I have the paperback in a box in the garage. I made my way to the box I thought it was in, only to find it now there. I requested it for eBook download from the library, but I'm on the waitlist. (Only the person reading it in front of me.)

I do remember reading it. Loved the characters in this one.

I started last night but haven't gotten very far. As soon as I sat down in my chair I had a hard time keeping my eyes open, lol.

I finished this today. I think this is my favorite. I really liked Colin :)

I'm at about 70%. I agree with you though, I'm really enjoying this one. There have been a lot of LOL moments.

I still haven't started. I guess I can try and see if I can dig it out of the box in the garage. I just can't lift those boxes like I used to be able to do. Otherwise, I have to wait for the library download.

Yes, I find the longer I'm on GRs, the more I bite off more than I can chew. LOL! I remember thinking GRs would help me narrow down my choice. Ha! Big laugh that.

I'm having a hard time adjusting to working and reading. I think I can still read as much as I did before but then - noooooo, I can't. And it frustrates me.

And now for some reason, I have the book on my kindle app, but it won't download. It keeps telling me there is an error.

Weird. Do you need to update your software? They made me do that awhile ago, which I didn't know they would even do!

Well, it just updated - which often causes problems. I will try again today. I am home sick with a cold. Yuck. But at least it's giving me lots of time to read.

By the way, I just finished a scottish history/ time travel book by an author I've never read before and it was pretty good.

I started this last night! And I have to say I really like the order we've chosen to read these in. Makes so much sense!

I've had that happen to me before LK and it's really annoying. I've also had the library make me go on a waitlist for a book and there aren't any copies checked out. Don't understand. I know ebook checkouts are actually controlled by the publisher and their contract with the library. Maybe only so many people can check it out in a period of time.

This one is starting slow for me. I don't feel very interested in Colin - maybe it's because he smells. Not sure. That just seems weird to me. Why would the author do that?

LOL! I know I ended up loving Colin, so keep whittling away at it while I wait (not so) patiently. It is frustrating, because I'm having other books come in for which I'm on the waitlist. Weird.

I'm just trying to understand the point of it. I know that people actually didn't bathe a lot back then but I prefer to think that they all smelled good. And I know she likes to be realistic. But still.

Even though he's smelly I still really liked this one. It had the most humor in it so far.

I've also liked this one the best so far.

At least he realized he smelled and cleaned up before being with Ali LOL

I just finished and I enjoyed it but definitely not my favorite.
He may have bathed but we never heard about her bathing except once! So I guess they really were well suited.

Loved the bedroom scene after they were married. And I loved it when he said he had decided to become the best lover the same way he became the best swordsman. With lots of practice!
But she annoyed me too much when she still thought he was going to kill her. But I loved the scene of her fighting evil Maria. All in all pretty enjoyable!!
