Thanks! I clearly didn't read that thread closely enough. However, a line in your post saying it was already approved would help those of us with faulty memories ;)

Grüner Kapitalismus, Krise, Klimawandel und kein Ende des Wachstums by Stephan Kaufmann

Review:
It's a non-fiction book about "green capitalism, crises, climate change, and no end of growth in sight" (translation of German title). The authors give an overview over what the concepts "green capitalism" and "green new deal" mean, what their theoretical underpinning is and and what implications these concepts have on the world. Very importantly, they point out that a green new deal, is supposed to preserve nature and stop or slow down climate change, while at the same time fuels economic growth - which mechanisms are responsible for the pollution in the first place. They postulate that a sustainable future relies not on a green new deal or green capitalism, but on climate justice, just transition, and steady-state economy.
Their points are laid out very understandably, and they provide the data and (scientific) literature they draw their conclusions on.

I'm sorry. This is classified as a YA Assignment at BPL and has a Lexile of 780. You're good with the task, but it is not eligible for style points.

Kate,

Yes, all 13 stories had black protagonists. The stories basically have all black characters with hardly any whites at all. I started to ask for the combo points but didn't want to add to the confusion with that task. But I'd gladly accept the 5 points though! And thanks for the not-a-novel points; I completely overlooked that.

Elizabeth, thanks for clearing that up. That's how I thought it should be. I've edited my post and my spreadsheet. I think I'll be OK on my decades. I have 7 or 8 lined up, but it's good to find this out early.

One thing I'm confused about though. When I look at the book's page it is still saying "first published January 1st 1959". I looked at the librarian change log, and it shows that on March 6 you changed the original publication date from 1959 to 1966, but then 12 minutes later it was changed back from 1966 to 1959. Either I'm going nuts or maybe the page just needs refreshed, or maybe I simply don't understand what I'm talking about?
