I'm pretty sure I've read it before, and the beginning seems familiar, but if I did it was LONG ago. Looking forward to it.
Loved this one. Thought I had read it as a kid but guess not. Really got hooked on this story and added the other three books in the series to my reading list.

To kick things off, I'm curious how many people have read this book before, and their general thoughts about it. I have vague recollections of reading it for the first time in elementary school and being absolutely enchanted by it. Since then, I return to it every five or ten years, and still love it :)
