Is Wool not-a-novel since it was originally published as separate short stories or is it a novel since it's now released as an omnibus edition?
Also, while I'm here, I read The Bone People last season as well and really enjoyed it. I'm reading If on a winter's night right now and really liking that as well...So thanks for picking all these great books everyone.
When I claimed it last season Wool did not count as not a novel, unfortunately. Apparently the cover says "a novel" now...

welcome! I'm looking forward to the Calvino book myself. Just checking around for a copy, if not will buy it for my kindle. I think this group picks out some really exceptional books and I like there are is a nice variety of genres. I just wish I could read many more than I have.

Wool does not qualify for not-a-novel. According to the author, only the first section was written as a stand-alone book; the rest of the story was published serially. Both goodreads and the Brooklyn Public Library designate it as a novel.
