Joanna (walker) | 2288 comments Also, while I'm here, I read The Bone People last season as well and really enjoyed it. I'm reading If on a winter's night right now and really liking that as well...

So thanks for picking all these great books everyone.

welcome! I'm looking forward to the Calvino book myself. Just checking around for a copy, if not will buy it for my kindle. I think this group picks out some really exceptional books and I like there are is a nice variety of genres. I just wish I could read many more than I have.

Wool does not qualify for not-a-novel. According to the author, only the first section was written as a stand-alone book; the rest of the story was published serially. Both goodreads and the Brooklyn Public Library designate it as a novel.
