Sad to hear this. Thanks for sharing Joseph. Great idea about reading Nifft... Please share that in the group read thread too.

I read the announcement on the Black Gate site this morning. So truly sad. I've been meaning to read Nifft the Lean for some time now, but as with so many things, it has been an intention unrealized. Like you, I am considering making it my group read this time around.

Has anybody else in this group read 'The Growlimb'?

A damned shame; he was one of my favorites and deserved far more recognition. He lived on the borders of Vance and Lovecraft.
Michael Whelan did the cover for the original paperback edition of Nifft the Lean so I think I'll be adjusting my group read plans accordingly.
