Having trouble getting through your to read shelf? Can't decide what to read next? Would you like someone to choose a book for you to read? This is a monthly challenge where participants get paired up randomly and their partner picks a book for them to read. If this sounds like fun to you, welcome to October's Pick It For Me challenge!


Sign ups end on September 20th. Partners will be assigned shortly thereafter. Book choices for your partners are to be given on or before October 1st. Please check back often during that time to be sure that you don't miss anything!

* Please be sure that your profile is set to public, or that you friend your partner so that they can see your shelves. - IF YOUR PROFILE IS NOT SET TO PUBLIC, PLEASE PROVIDE A LIST FOR YOUR PARTNER TO CHOOSE FROM

I hope it's okay to ask this question here. What happens if most of the books on your list are library books and they happen to be not available when your partner picks them? Should you take out a few and have them choose from that list or can they pick again?

That is really up to you. Some people just read it when they get it from the library, even if it's late. Others make sure it's something that they own or that they can easily get from the library. You can always ask your partner to pick again, within reason.

hope you fell better soon, I know what its like being sick I got sick on my birthday which was Aug 15th, so I was sick from the 15th to the 26 of Aug, felt like someone had hit me with wooding stick.

Okay, I think I got everything set up correctly, LOL. I think the only shelf I wasn't positive on was Janessa since her post said TBR but there wasn't one named that so I'm guessing it was supposed to be the standard GR "to read" shelf. If I was wrong let me know and I'll update the post! :)
