It's time to choose the nominations for the April group read. To nominate a book just post the title of the book and the author, below.

It can be any book so long as it is within the ya historical fiction genre and it is suitable for teens - no 18+ material. Every member can only nominate one book. Also, please do not nominate a novel that has been chosen for a prior Young Adult Historical Fiction group read. Please note that as of right now authors can not nominate their own books for the Group Reads.

The nominations will end on March 19th and then be put to a vote to determine the group read for April.

Hi Gabriella :) We are currently only allowing members to nominate one book for the monthly group reads. Is there one of these books that you would prefer to nominate?

As for me, I'd like to nominate In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters.

There ended up being a tie between The Diviners and A Brief History of Montmaray for the April Group Read. However another member voted, via the comments, later in the day for The Diviners and Tara and I thought that it would be best and simplest just to choose The Diviners as the April Group Read. If you'd like to check it out you can do so here. Happy reading!

Also if you still would like to discuss The Brief History of Montmaray than feel free to check out the Book/Author Discussions and perhaps create a topic for it there.
