I'm sure I'll spring for Dragon Age: Inquisition this Fall - assuming it'll run on the "old" PS3 as promised and doesn't require an internet connection.

And they don't decide that manual saving/quick saving is unnecessary. That trend has just about killed every new PC release for me. I've ended up waiting for or playing kickstarter games like Shadowrun.
I'm waiting for Star Citizen/Squadron 42, but knowing Chris Roberts I will have to rob a gold depository in order to afford the PC that will run the game. But is is a PC only game, which alone might make it worthwhile.
as far as time-waster apps, I am having fun with Dr. Who: Legends so far...new to the kindle Fire, free app, just don't waste any cash on crystals (you CAN play without them)

I hardly ever play any app games; not too big on those but I will play bejeweled once in a blue moon.
Anyone play MMO's? I used to play WOW (like everyone else on the planet) until Cata was released and haven't been back since. I think the new exp is coming out this year–still don't understand what the hell it's about storywise though. Like most everyone else, I wish Blizzard would just make Warcraft 4. And Bioware KOTOR 3. There's also TESO, but I doubt I join in on that. Maybe if it wasn't a paid subscription I might have given it a try. Then again, if it becomes insanely popular, I might just have to see what the craze is all about.

Single player only. But Star Citizen will be a huge online persistent universe.

What the hell is Star Citizen?

What the hell is Star Citizen?"

Okay, so if I read correctly, Star Citizen is a space sim crowd funding pc project that sounds incredibly detailed, but could very well just be hype as companys are one to do to build interest. I've not heard this at all though. Not seen it mentioned on IGN which I frequent often. Have you personally funded this?

However, Chris Roberts has an excellent reputation, all the way back to the Wing Commander games. They are using Cryengine 3, which is an established and cutting edge game engine. They provide weekly progress and staffing reports on Youtube.
They are rolling out the game in modular fashion to the investors to field test. The hangar module and some of the ships have been delivered and the dogfight module is expected shortly.
Some examples of their progress reporting.

No skin off my nose if you don't think it will work. I'm not a Cloud Imperium evangelist although I do admire Chris Robert's work.

Just like me. Too bad Witcher has been delayed to February 2015. DA 3 should very well suffice though, the videos I've seen of it make it out to be fairly promising. We shall see though. There's also Watch Dogs by Ubisoft in Big May.

Dragon Age Inquisition
ESO!!!
Watch Dogs
Did I say ESO???
Will check out The next Everquest
and I am waiting on the next Fallout.....

I agree, it would make for a welcome change.
Mine: The Witcher 3 and Dragon Age 3, even despite my potent disappointment with DA 2.
