Another question: do the books have to be read in order and finished on the same day?
You don't have to read a book in one day, but it would awesome to read 30 books in 30 days. All you need to read is to read a book that fits the task on the day you start reading it.

I love this idea, but I think it's a bit over my head. I'd love to participate, though. Would you be willing to allow me to just see how many I can complete in a month and disregard the days? I don't think I can do the specific days but I want to try this challenge regardless.
I am sure I'll never finish all 30 due to my work load, BUT I love having a new took to start every day and challenging myself to read more because of it. My bigger challenge is that I am already full with buddy reads in September, but I'll be darned if I'll let that stop me. Either way I will read more!

I appreciate your reasoning behind this! I am having fun just figuring out what to start each day. All I have to do is start a new book each day, give my students "sit-down-be-quiet-and-do-your-work-assignments all month so I can read in class and I'll have them all done...no problem! Well, until admin walks in. LOL
But seriously I am honestly going to PUSH myself and do as much as I can...definitely starting all 30 even if it takes me till New Years to finish them all. LOL

Guidelines

e.g.: if you decide to start on September 1st, you need to read a book with fewer than 200 pages. When you finish and if you decide to read on the 2nd, you need to read a book published at least 10 years ago. However, you can skip and wait to read another for the challenge on the 3rd of the month and so on.
3. You are more than welcome to read a book for every requirement, or just read as many as you are comfortable with.
