Andrew (andrew_walker) | 2 comments Hello! I've just published my first business title, called "Screwproof - doing deals that won't f*ck up". It's not your usual kind of business book, it's funny, irreverent, honest and useful.

It's all about using simple thinking techniques (or 'thinking tools') to address something we all have, called 'confirmation bias'. It's a decision making error, where we make poor analytical choices, in life and business, because of unconscious social and emotional motivations.

The book is short, funny and written like a narrative, designed to give very practical, hands-on advice to people, especially freelancers, entrepreneurs and contractors when they're dealing with commercial clients.

It explores the reasons why people screw each other, the reasons why we often screw ourselves or unwittingly screw other people. It explains the notion that business decision making isn't really more complex than ordering a sandwich, and if you want to observe someone's business skills, observe them ordering their lunch from a waiter.

It uses five simple rules that will genuinely help you avoid bad deals, bullshitters and sharks. If you work in the creative industries, technology, media or publishing, it's especially useful (because that's where I come from) - but whatever you do, this book helps you develop your own framework for avoiding client headaches and wasting time and money on problematic contracts.

It's been given great early reviews from all kinds of business thinkers, but I really want to get feedback from a more diverse, wider experienced audience.

I'd love to hear from you, I can send the book in .ePub, PDF or .Mobi, just send me a message here or email me at [email protected] or tweet me at @killdozer with your email.

Thanks in advance!

Andrew (andrew_walker) | 2 comments I'd still love to get some feedback from the group. I got another five star rating on Amazon over the weekend, so that's encouraging - wondering if maybe I haven't titled this request properly!

Anyone?
