Mary Carolyn (ivorybow) | 7 comments I am not sure what the etiquette is about this so I am asking. I have a friend who writes a series she calls The Bad Girls, and each book has 12 mini true biographies of women who led extremely unusual lives, like spies, assassins, explorers, etc. She occasionally offers them on Amazon for free. Is it okay for me to provide a link to her books here on the series discussion group? Thank you.

Steph (angel4492) | 32706 comments Hi Carolyn. I really appreciate you asking first.

In this case, it would be okay for you - or her - to add a thread about her series in our Around Goodreads & the WWW folder, which where I've moved this thread.

But, only if her series is fantasy in nature with some form of paranormal, fantasy, supernatural element. If it's simply a series about "normal" ... women who led extremely unusual lives, like spies, assassins, explorers, etc. then no. It doesn't fit the theme of our group, even though it's a series it would be a different genre.

Thanks.
