Nothing But Reading Challenges discussion

I need help. I read a book years ago and just came to realize that I have it away. I don't remember the name of the book and was hoping maybe someone had read it, or knows the book. I've searched google books, book stores online, but to no avail.

From what I remember, the book was about a man that was sent to an alternate time/world during a war similar to world war 2. There was a brick wall and a candlestick that sort of transported him to this realm. There are bomber planes and he's being chased. The cover had a candlestick if I recall correctly and was black with red lettering.

Is it the "Man in the High Castle"? It doesn't sound exactly like that, but it is about an alternative world where the Nazis have won WWII. Also, sounds a little bit like "Blackout" /"All Clear" which is about scholars who take trips back in time to witness historical events.
