As for what I can do to help. I'm really organized and can help people to better understand things. Conflicts are also a big no-no for me when it comes to members. Another thing I can do Is bring in ideas for a broader plot as I don't yet know what your intentions are for where this group is going to go. Or if it's similar to the OG storyline.
{1} Book:I find the book is far less developed both in plot and characters than ones down the line. The characters were generally fairly two-dimensional, sticking to their general archetypes and not yet truly being their , while there were less plot-twists and major events in it, despite the whole misdirection with Quirrel and Snape. I do still like it, and I think it is the beginning of the world, and it sets the stage for later development.
{2} Movie:I do not remember this as well. I think that they removed a lot of details from the books. However, I do still like it, and I think it is cute and a fun movie to watch. I do wish they had done a couple things more in line with later movies (the castle, for example). However, the filming locations make me very happy (particularly since I have been to most of the ones in Oxford).
{3} Ideas and How I can Help:I am pretty good at combining the ideas of other people. I also have a lot of experience and can help organize the group. I can also create additional locations as necessary or desired, such as various courtyards, a clock tower, other places featured in Hogwarts Castle, and a Hogsmeade folder. As for ideas, I can help with details of plot. I think we would first need to figure out when in relation to the series this roleplay is taking place (if this has been figured out and I'm missing something, please tell me).

Awesome! Okay. So is it concurrent with the first movie to begin with then?
Well, I honestly wouldn't be able to inform you about my experience with just the first book and the first movie. I had an intense experience with the entire series. I loved every single aspect brought to light throughout the series from Harry's parents dying to the fact that Neville Longbottom could have just as easily been the chosen one as Harry Potter was, but Voldemort chose Harry and therefore that is what truly set in motion the plot of the books. An absolute thrill full of magic and wonder. The introduction, The Sorcerer's Stone/The Philosopher's Stone, was a window which developed into an open door for so many into the exciting Wizarding World. An absolute thrill of emotion with each chapter.
I am a detail kind of guy. I can give ideas and insight into the HP world that can collaborate with whole new plots and original ideas for an rp such as this. I'm not going to sound conceited or arrogant, but I have been able to make it a point that I know the HP series so well that I have been able to incorporate entirely new plots that are still able to stick to canon history. I am full of ideas and love giving my insight on things. I'm not afraid to speak out and give advice when asked for it. I work hard and play harder, roleplay that is. Some find my methods irritable others find them intriguing. I'm certainly not one to claim the throne so much as sit in the background and observe until called upon.

~~Brilliant application. However, we will only be taking on a fifth moderator when we reach 40 members. When the position is made available, you shall certainly be considered for it. =)

Approved!

, and tell me your ideas and what ya can do to help:I have different views about things, and it would be cool if we add some games

Book: I honestly love the whole Harry Potter series, and here is what I thought of the first one: I enjoyed this book when I first read it when I was around 9 years old (I have reread it 2 or 3 times after that). I thought that all the characters were introduced and developed really well, and even though there was a large quantity of characters, I never felt overwhelmed. I don't know have the author managed to write it this way. The setting is one of my favourite aspects of Harry Potter. All the places are so intricately designed down to the smallest details. Also, J.K. Rowling really took her time explaining the history and situation of the Wizarding World, and it wasn't an abrupt explanation; it was nicely incorporated into the plot. Another element I love about Harry Potter books is that it appeals both to younger and older audiences, because it is written in a simple way that a child can easily understand and includes many complex messages that would intrigue an adolescent or an adult. It has been five or six months since I read the first book and I might be slightly biased by all the good reviews I've read about it, but I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the first book, as well as the rest of the series. All the books were real page-turners. :)
Movie: There is always a stereotypical view that the "book is better than the movie". In the case of Harry Potter, I can honestly say that the movie was as good as the book. Great choice in actors and setting, everything in the book was portrayed so nicely in the movie. From what I can remember from when I watched the movie (which was also a couple months, if not a year, ago), it was the kind of movie that the Harry Potter series deserved.
Suggestions: First, I'd just like to say that I have a lot of experience in both roleplaying and moderating groups, and I think I could help with the organisation as well as the activeness of the group :) I do not have any ideas right now, but as I become more involved in the group, I will definitely contribute in any way I can.
Thank you, and I hope you consider my application :)
