I completed 1 series Requiem The Fall of the Templars (Brethren Trilogy, #3) by Robyn Young , got to te last book I own in one serie Max (Maximum Ride, #5) by James Patterson and for two series I'm not sure but I think there will be more books so I got up to date Als padden schreeuwen (Paul Vegter #6) by Lieneke Dijkzeul Clariel (Abhorsen, #4) by Garth Nix .
2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
I didn't start any new series
3. Did you move forward in any series? How many?
Just the ones I completed or got up to date with.
4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
No 5 star reads, I had three 4 star reads.
5. How are you doing with your challenge goals? Will you accomplish them by year end?
I had to look up my challenge goals:
1 complete all series with one book remaining
2 reread Harry Potter and The golden compass series
3 finish 10 series
4 read two of the series I have complete but haven't started yet

I reread The Golden Compass series and I finished some series but not the numbers I mentioned and I didn't read a complete new series either. Guess I have some work to do :)

I read tons of Dean Koontz when I was in my teens. I should try one of his new ones.

1. Did you complete and/or get up to date in any series this month?

Yes, 2
The Disillusionists by Carolyn Crane. Book #3 was a good end to the series but not as good as the first two in the series.
Feral Warriors by Pamela Palmer. An OK end to the series but its a good thing that its over (at least I think it is)

2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?

Yes, 2.

The Anatomy of Death (Dr Dody McCleland, #1) by Felicity Young Irresistible Force (K-9 Rescue, #1) by D.D. Ayres

Enjoyed them both, especially D. D. Ayer's book and will continue.

3. Did you move forward in any series? How many?

Yes, 11

Mortal Arts (Lady Darby, #2) by Anna Lee Huber Quarterback Draw (Play by Play, #9) by Jaci Burton (calling it quits on this series. Enough is enough). The Untamed One (Wild Wulfs of London, #2) by Ronda Thompson The Wrong Hostage (St. Kilda Consulting, #2) by Elizabeth Lowell Death of Riley (Molly Murphy Mysteries #2) by Rhys Bowen Broken Soul (Jane Yellowrock, #8) by Faith Hunter Crossfire (High Risk #2) by JoAnn Ross Return to Me by Christy Reece The Lies That Bind (A Bibliophile Mystery, #3) by Kate Carlisle Mine to Keep (Mine, #2) by Cynthia Eden Stolen Heat (Stolen Series, #2) by Elisabeth Naughton

4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?

No 5 stars but two that I really enjoyed and came pretty close - Irresistible Force (K-9 Rescue, #1) by D.D. Ayres - wonderful heroine and the hero is yummy, but the dog steals the show :0)

Hearts in Darkness (Hearts in Darkness, #1) by Laura Kaye - a surprisingly sweet and sexy novella.

5. How are you doing with your challenge goals? Will you accomplish them by year end?

Not too bad. I've put a really good dent in my list of 2nd in a series and am on track to finish 12 series and perhaps one or two more.

1. Did you complete and/or get up to date in any series this month?
I completed/got up to date in four series: Once a Marine by Jennifer Apodaca, Grant County by Karin Slaughter, Travis Family by Lisa Kleypas and Manwhore by Katy Evans.

2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
I started four new series: Hostile Operations Team by Lynn Raye Harris, The Associates by Carolyn Crane, Still Harbor by Victoria James and Fairham Island by Brenda Novak. Not sure I'll continue Harris's series but do plan to continue the other two.

3. Did you move forward in any series? How many? I advanced four series: Kate Burkholder by Linda Castillo, Romantic Suspense by Karen Rose, Nashville Nights by Robin Covington and O'Leary's by Shannyn Schroeder.

4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
I loved If You Only Knew by Kristan Higgins and believe it may be her best work to date. Beyond Reach by Karin Slaughter was brilliantly done, even if it broke my heart. Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay was timely and will haunt me forever.

5. How are you doing with your challenge goals? Will you accomplish them by year end?
Right now, I'm ahead of my goals! As I've focused on my series each month, it's made a difference.
If You Only Knew by Kristan Higgins Beyond Reach (Grant County, #6) by Karin Slaughter Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay
