YA Apocalyptic and Dystopian Fiction discussion

Come and read this book with me and the other members of our group.

This sounds pretty good! From the description, it sounds to me a bit like 'Ember in the Ashes', which I absolutely loved!

To help with participation I will gift a Kindle copy of the second book in the series at the end of the month. I will consider any active members on this thread if that is ok with the moderators. I really enjoyed this series.

Want to participate a little more... is there a read by date for this? Or just read and add your thoughts to this thread?? xx

The moderators have no problem with this if people are interested. I have to pick up a copy of this when I get a chance. It sounds like a great read.

Generally they run for the month, but if you read it later and stop in with your thoughts that is great too.

I''m on chapter five and so far the main character is really annoying me xD. I hope it picks up soon.

Bleh I just finished the book. I wanted to stop reading it so much, but I pulled through. It gets 2 stars from me. What did you guys think? I had problems with the character development and dialogue, and also the setting and repetition of everything. Just bleh. XD

Ok so it's more like three and a half stars but I gave it 4. I read this in a day and found myself immersed in the love story haha! Guilty pleasure
It's an easy read and I thought the 'bad guy' was pretty menacing. Clio... a touch annoying like omg what did my family do wah wah wah.
Riece... awesome lol. His character had true flaws and issues that made him fairly realistic.
Overall it was a fun read and I am fairly curious as to what happens next. :)

I loved Sacrificed; it is a unique and diverse YA novel. I also read Forsworn, its sequel, and loved that just as much!

I'm a huge fan of Sacrificed. I thought the storyline was well developed. I found the characters to be realistic with self awareness. I'm team Riece all the way.
