Challenge: 50 Books discussion

Happy September! It's time again to think about next months group read. All suggestions are welcome and as long as they have not been read before will be added to the poll. Please be aware that you will have to moderate the discussion if your suggestion wins the poll.

Ah, what the heck. I'll nominate Cloud Atlas. It's on my list to read in October, and I didn't find a previous discussion for it, so I'll throw its hat into the ring.

That is a great book! Now that you say it, I wouldn't mind giving it another read!

I would like to nominate Y: The Last Man, Vol. 1: Unmanned. Have you ever wondered what would happen if every male in the world died...except one man and his pet monkey? This is the beginning of a hilarious 10 volume series.

What about Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurty? It's a classic that's been languishing on my To Read list for way too long.
