Eclectic Readers? Average age?

My 70 year old parents have read it as well as my 20 year old niece.

Since reading the book I've also recommended it to my 77 year old grandmother (retired), best friend (22, chef) and random strangers and acquaintances met in various pups; all of whom have similarly been enchanted by the series.

Some of my friends have read it as well, all of the same age.

I still buy hardbacks of my favorites. But shop for books daily and never have to drive to town.

Always looking for new friends!!!!

People from every age and diferent interests enjoy the KKC!
Your answers really suprised me. From teenagers to granparents everywhere☺ people are reading these lovelly books.
Amazing!!

Was a CAD designer/engineer, now a retired by RIF, and an artist.
I'll add a layer: from the Midwest, through Colorado (where I first read him), now in Oregon.
The friends who've read him are all in their 40s, techno geeks, mostly.

Good idea Meran! It's also really cool to know where the readers are from.
I'm from São Paulo state, Brazil.

I was gifted the book about 5 years ago by a friend. No one had ever gotten me a book as a gift so I was skeptical. Then I read it and couldn't put it down! Rothfuss pretty much made me fall in love with reading again.

Congrats one the new , soon to be, blessing!
I remember waiting on Patricks second book to come out. Was at book store midnight to buy it. Done that will all Harry potter books too. My daughter is a great reader.

My day job is a custodian and at night I am an entrepreneur.
I love all types of books but fantasy is my favorite!
I live in North Pole, AK
I am married with a baby on the way!
I have a little dog!
I graduated high school and have completed a couple college credits!
I could go on I guess but that's the main stuff!

School teacher by day
Thai boxing instructor by night
Editing my first completed book
Read both Name of the Wind and a Wise Man's Fear
Currently listening to The Name of The Wind audio book which has solidified it as my favourite book of all time. What an incredible author.

I do read a lot and mostly scifi/fantasy but many other things as well,
For me why I love the KCC is it's beautiful the writing the thousand images
A page that Patrick Rothfuss throws out at us, the way that the books
Reach out and take you by the hand to take you on their journey and it's
just a pleasure start to finish and what's a couple of sleepless nights between
friends :) and that is basically what I look for in any book whatever the subject
matter!

I was wondering what kind os people fell in love with Rothfuss books. Is there a target age, or readers between 0-120 read it? Can you share that information? Are you students or do you work? on what?
Why is the orange falling so far from the tree? Is Rothfuss that good?
I'll share my age 32, and I'm a Lawyer.
I don't know why but i can't help the feeling that i'm not the target to the books, and i LOVE IT SO VERY MUCH!!! He became my favorite Autor.
Am i wrong?
Share your age and what you do and prove me wrong. ;-)
