Damini
The concept of this challenge is simple. We designate 7 subcategories of YA novels as the 7 colors of the rainbow. You'll need to read books from each category, i.e., from the varying colors of rainbow. The more you read, the better. The minimum requirement is- You'll have to read at least one book from each category. Each book you read will gain you points. Needless to say, the participant with the highest points will win the challenge!

Duration of the Challenge :
April 2nd to June 1st (2014)

Here's the Color Code:

Violet- Young Adult Science Fiction
Indigo- Young Adult Dystopia
Blue- Young Adult Paranormal
Green- Young Adult Contemporary/ New adult Contemporary
Yellow- Young Adult Historical Fiction
Orange- Young Adult Fantasy
Red- Young Adult Romance

Each book you read (from any category) will earn you 5 points.

message 15: by Noella (new)

Noella (kookiemonstar) Count me in! :D

message 16: by Noella (new)

Noella (kookiemonstar) Feast of Fools (The Morganville Vampires, #4) by Rachel Caine can qualify for YA Romance (even though it's more paranormal), right?

message 17: by Damini (new)

Damini I think it'll be better if you categorize as YA paranormal (since paranormal is there as a separate sub-genre).

message 18: by Noella (new)

Noella (kookiemonstar) Aww ok then. So it's more like contemporary romance for YA Romance? Cos most books fit in many genres~

message 19: by Damini (new)

Damini Um, yes.
