Zeara ((So, again I ask, shall I start or you? Doesn't matter to me either way.))

Zeara ((Gotcha. Give me a few minutes.))

Zeara Silence had always been her friend. Her favorite pastime had always been to let the darkness wash over her like Death’s own embrace, to revel in the nothingness. Being cloaked in darkness, hearing nothing but her own heartbeat, feeling the cool touch of the night, that was her heaven. Here in the city however, there was no such thing as silence. Always the sound of cars, sirens, people, wind against cold brick and steel buildings, those annoying pigeons. All those sounds coming together to produce a cacophony that deafened her. Not to mention the headache that came from all this sound. How on earth did these pathetic humans stand to live here? No wonder so many drank themselves under the table on a nightly basis. No wonder there were homeless drug addicts on every corner, stinking as they lay in their own filth. The only thoughts on their mind were when they would get their next fix. Isa curled her lip in disgust. Having had to look at all these surroundings for the past month, she understood why so many humans were prone to throwing themselves of buildings, hanging themselves, ect. Why was she even needed when the humans were so eager to do themselves in anyway? Why not let them just go about their business, they would all die off soon enough anyway. Gah, but she had let her father talk her into accepting this job. After all, what else was a demigod going to do with her life? Lie about her father’s temple, feasting her mouth on the most succulent foods, and feasting her eyes on those hot men who occasionally came into the temple to pray. Not many of those anymore.

Isa sighed. Her father had finally convinced her to accept the job by saying she would get to see the world. Well if this was what the world had to offer, then she preferred laying about in his temple and listening to those priests chant all day and the stupid prayers of those who still believed in the old gods. Her mother wasn’t even around anymore to talk to her. And father, well father was always too busy meeting with other gods to talk to her. She had been forbidden from taking human lovers by her father because they were “worthless pieces of @#$! who would only take advantage of her tender feelings.” Ha, her tender feelings. Now that was funny. If only he knew.
Isa shook her head; Time to get back to work. If her partner found her sitting around she would never hear the end of it. Their relationship was already strained as it was. His parting words to her had been
“If I catch you flirting with another human, I will personally drag you back to headquarters and see you confined to the most boring, humiliating job possible. Cleaning the every single toilet in the building with a toothbrush.”

She grimaced. The worst part of that threat was that he would actually follow through. She ran a hand through her black hair and looked around; time to kill some unruly spirits from hell. She narrowed her dark brown eyes and search for the tell tale signs: screaming, blood, stench of death, mark of the damned and so on. Even with her demigod sight it wasn’t easy to find such creatures in a city as busy as this. This city was filled with the damned, and not all of them were dead.

Ah, there it was, a slight shadow which was a mark leftover from Hades. He always made sure to mark his most prominent, and by that she meant troublesome, residents; the ones who had a history of causing trouble.

She stood and stretched her lithe 5’2 frame. Yeah, she was short, but all the more deadly for it. The black silk clothes tailored especially for her hugged her muscled form. The scythe on her back had a red handle and a black blade, sharp enough to cut through spirits. She pushed back her hair once more, cursing and swearing to cut it short as soon as she could, she leapt from the building. She fell through the air for five stories, flipping just before she landed on her feet in the alley. Her black boots thudded dully on the ground. Straightening her legs she walked out into the street, invisible to all the mortals. Sure she could make herself appear, but that would just send all the stupid humans running and screaming, and more importantly, alert her prey.

Zeara ((lol, I was wondering.))

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee runs threw the crowed of people, she might have looked crazy to them but she didn't care. She needed to find a place, food and safety before its too late. She didn't know if the cops or her parents were after her since she ran away. Maybe no one was after her at all, maybe her parents didn't want her anymore. She couldn't think about that know, not with her trying to focus on not falling. But that was to late since she felt pain in her head. It happened so fast she couldn't even remember it. She looked up to see that she tripped over a girl but couldn't tell anything else about her before closing her eyes, trying to get the pain out of her head. She thought if she squeezed her eyes that the pain would squeeze away with it. That was dumb of her though, she knew it would never work.

Zeara Isa had just walked out of the alley when someone slammed into her with enough force to drive her to her knees. That was one problem with being invisible; if you weren't careful someone could run into you. Isa let fly a few Egyptian curses before calming down enough to see who it was that had run into her.

It was a young girl, though Isa couldn't guess her exact age. Guessing ages had never been her strong suit, and it was something that had gotten her into trouble more than once.

The girl seemed to be in pain, though there didn't seem to be anything obviously wrong with her. Isa shook her head. Whatever, it wasn't her problem.

Turning to go, Isa froze. Her target was looking right at her. Damn. He was tall, ugly, and obviously a citizen of Hades' realm.

"Hey there, Big Boy. How about you come quietly?"

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) Vee moans in pain as her head pain increased, it felt like an earthquake in their. "Help" she says quietly not able to speak any louder. She heard people walk by ignoring her, going on their usual day which was not having her in it. She felt the ground move with every step. She tries to move but then she feels a sharp stab of pain in her heard which made her even more dizzy. "Please" she tries to say it louder, but failed. What would happen to her if no one helped her. Will she ever be caught by the police or her parents.

Zeara Isa looked down at the injured girl in annoyance. This idiotic girl had alerted Isa prey to the fact that he was being hunted. Isa tsked in annoyance. Well, nothing else to do now.

Isa grabbed the girl by her shirt and pulled her up into a run. Isa turned back into the alley and drug the girl with her. Human blood was their favorite meal, so since this girl had messed up Isa's hunt, Isa would now use her as bait.

She heard the corrupted spirit behind her, his foul stench chasing after them like some sort of hellhound. Isa wrinkled her nose. Yeah, she really hated this job.

ƒαуzα...{Iɱ Ꮗҽíཞᗪ} (lovefayfay) "Who are you?" Vee manages to say as she opens her eyes. She couldn't see clear which made her situation even worse. She hopes she isn't getting blind because that would mess up her plain on running away and she couldn't have that. "Will you help me?" She wanted to hear a yes. Maybe whoever this person was could help hide he until she was able to be on the run again. But with this injury it was hard to tell. Her head still hurts and her hands were scraped. She also feels the side of her head wet. Was that blood? She couldn't tell. All she cared about was if she could see and right now it was a no.

message 20: by Zeara (new)

Zeara ((Sorry. I have been really busy.))

Isa glanced down in annoyance as she dragged the girl through the dark back alleys of the city. Who was she? Isa was a demi-god, but no need for the girl to know that.

"Shut up and run." The girl said something again and Isa nearly rolled her eyes. Would she help her? No. Whatever the girl was into, it wasn't Isa's problem. The girl WAS hurt pretty badly though. Maybe Isa would drop the girl off at a hospital later... Maybe.

Isa stopped and let the girl fall to the ground as she faced the corrupted spirit behind her.

"You know, Hades doesn't like when you guys escape from his realm. It hurts his feelings." The spirit just snarled at Isa before it jumped at her, throwing punches.
