Done!

Mike (mikespencer) | 48 comments I'm about halfway through and I'm losing interest. I enjoyed the first book and the second one maybe even more, but the story in the third is going nowhere.

When Arthur was first introduced into the series, I didn't really mind it. He just kind of played a background role so it didn't make much of a difference.

But, at some point, the Arthurian characters became more important than the actual protagonists and I feel like I'm not even reading the series that I started.

I'm just not invested in those characters and I think that's why I'm losing interest. I miss Dave, Paul, and the others.

I can see why you'd say that, although it was not a detriment for me. The five characters from our world helped make things possible in Fionavar, helped move the major players to where they needed to be and when they needed to be there. Then those players did what they needed to do, though sometimes with surprising twists, at least to me.

Helen I never liked the original characters all that much so that might not be a bad point when I can force myself to read it.

Mike (mikespencer) | 48 comments I stuck with it and it's paying off. Things are picking up and I'm really enjoying it now.
