Combined with all my other addictions (music, tv shows, films, theatre...) I'm broke most of the time, I don't have any free space in either one of my rooms and I have no free time (= no time for social life or school). But I love my life.

My name is Heather and I'm a total bookaholic! Not only am I obsessed with physical books, but if I buy a paperback or hardcover, I usually have to get the iBook and/or Kindle edition as well. I need an intervention lol

Rayah | 1 comments Hello my name is Rayah. My friends aren't avid book readers so i thought this would be a good place to find like-minded book lovers.

HELLO ALL!

message 74: by Samantha (new)

Samantha | 1 comments Hi my name is Samantha and I am a bookaholic. I've been a bookaholic for the last two months where I have put a bunch of books on my TBR. Maybe by working together I can learn how to not buy so many books, come to terms with buying books or not buy so many books. Seriously I don't need any more recommendations for at least the next two years (if i read fast).

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) Hello everyone, my name is Margaret and I have been a bookaholic for over 20 years. :) I inherited this trait from my mother, who passed it on to me, my sister, and my brother. Some of my earliest memories are of reading books with my mom, and we often exchange titles.

Joshua Allison (jaallison) Hello there, my name is Josh and I am a Bookaholic. My disease started around middle school when I first started reading horror novels. That was the beginning of it all. I have three large bookcases of horror, sci-fi, thriller, etc.. I also have another problem of starting other books when i am in the middle of others. Currently, I am in the middle of reading four books.. all horror, of course. Anyway, cool group glad there are other readers out there

message 78: by K.S. (new)

K.S. Lewis (southernlibrarian) Hi. My name is Kensley. I became a bookaholic around age 10, which started by sneaking into my school library for almost an entire school day (surprise it only took them 3.5 hours to both realize I was missing from class and to find me) to read Harry Potter because I wasn't allowed to bring and read those books at home. My condition worsened when I broke my first bookshelf, because my shelves started sagging in the middles because of too many books. As much as I try, I cannot stay away from library book sales (because who can resist filling a huge paper grocery bag as full as you can with books that costs only $5). I have more to-reads than I have reads, I was born with a reading list that I'll never be able to finish.
