James W. | 1 comments Goodread members read other author's books although it takes time. As to how soon one publish after the first book.I'd say try yearly.

message 5: by Alexander (new)

Alexander Engel-Hodgkinson (nexus_engel) | 1 comments I definitely try for a yearly release of at least two books. I got three out in 2015; a novel, a novella, and a short story. Hoping to get more than that out this year.

Trevor Burton (TrevorBurton) | 1 comments I agree with at least one a year. I know it can be more, but all the marketing and social media takes time. There could be more to life than writing, but then again, maybe not!
