Haha, you shouldn't be. Jane Austen seems to have a simple way of writing that can still leave a person with various states of emotions that you don't quite expect. ; )

I think classic is nice. : ) A few days ago I got myself Emma (Also Jane Austen) from Amazon. If I could read more classics, I would. I find that classics have a nice easy going sort of reading to it. With a plot based book, a person always wants to know what happens next, so there's a slight tendency to rush books like that, whereas with classics, a person reads just to read. ; ) And yes, I've read Pride and Prejudice. It gave me the warm fuzzies! : )

Carmen | 139 comments I'm going to be reading a book called Twenty Something. It is a collection of three books in one; the authors are: Samantha March; Cat Lavoie and Laura Chapman. I won this ebook in a competition I entered. : )

Not sure but definitely something off my TBR list. I have taken a break from buying anything unless it is a book that is part of a series or by a specific author. I will just see that strikes my interest once I am done with Fated.

Actually I got Hamlet from the library like a week ago, and I have been wanting to read it! I found it ironic that it also just so happened to be Shakespeare week as well! Sooooooooo I guess in a way I am celebrating! I may even reread A Midsummer Night's Dream to contribute to the celebration!

message 94: by Jason (new)

Jason Hubbard | 29 comments I'm trying out "Everblue" by Brenda Pandos. It's a YA book about ... mermaids!!! And young love, apparently! Think "Twilight" but without fantasy creatures who aren't morbidly abused by creative license. I'm only a little into it, and I'm not sure I'll like it much. The first-person narrative seems useless since it doesn't make the book a more personal experience.
