Just finished Honeymoon For One, and I'm really wishing we had a half star rating system on Goodreads right now! It was an ok read, better than a 2 star rating, but not good enough for a 3 star rating. I was mildly bored with the book throughout it and thought the ending was very rushed. Not the greatest read, but it did pass the evening rather well.

Just finished A Heart Divided. This was my first introduction to this author, and I found it to be a very interesting and relevant read. It is a Christian romance, but it doesn't get too preachy, it just acts as a subtle thread throughout the book. I found it very enjoyable and will rate it 4 stars!

Just finished An April Bride, which makes me done with the challenge! This was such a wonderful book! It made me cry, not once but three times! If you enjoy Christian Romance, I heartily recommend this book! Even if you don't like Christian Romance, I still recommend you read it because it also deals with a returning Afghanistan war veteran's struggle to patch together his life after a severe injury. Well worth the money spent on it!

My pleasure, Hayley! This story was part of the "A Year of Weddings" Novella series, but they're all written by different authors and don't connect to each other at all. Some of the previous stories connect to the author's other series, like Rachel Hauck's A March Bride was a continuation of the story in Once Upon a Prince. Denise Hunter's A December Bride was the same way, tying into her Chapel Springs books. I've been picking up each of the books, ever since I got the first three (December, January, and February) from NetGalley to review. I had to go back and purchase those separately, as the copies from NetGalley had a lot of typos in them, but I think it's been worth it overall, as they've all been at least a 3 star read and there was only one (so far) that has been at the 3 star level.

A word of caution, though. Most negative reviews I read about Christian romance are from readers that say something like "I hate Christian Romance! It's all preachy! This book should have had a clear label that it was Christian Romance!" Well, this is me putting that label on the series. It is published by Zondervan, which is a Christian Publishing House, and this entire series is definitely Christian romance. I personally don't mind it, but I know others might, so I'm putting it out there.

And now that I've babbled on entirely too much about the series, and given you probably way more than you wanted to know about it all, I'll hush and go meander back to the coffee house in the corner of the group over there, and maybe dig up another book to read!
