Ava sat on the top of the stairs, drawing in her journal. She wasn't exactly the best artist, but she wasn't the worst either. And Ava didn't care anyway. She was drawing a big letter B, but making it fancy. Sketching things on the B, around the B. It was pretty awesome, in Ava's opinion.

Scarlett skipped up the stairs, humming the tune of her favourite song, in which was popular in the Muggle world. She noticed someone on the top of that stairs, sketching something. When Scarlett saw exactly who it was, she gasped. "Ava! Ava! Oh my gosh, Ava!" she exclaimed, grinning, while running up the stairs to her.
"Scarlett! You're here!" Ava exclaimed happily, hopping down the stairs and hugging Scarlett. "Yay, I hoped I could see you today!" Ava was always excited to see her best friend.

"Totally awesome! Look, I'm sketching this really fancy letter B." Ava said cheerfully, sitting down next to Scarlett and holding out the notebook. "I dunno why I started making it, I kinda just did! It popped into my head!"

Scarlett smiled. "Ooh!" she clapped. "B for... best! Best friends! Because we're best friends!" she giggled. She really liked being best friends with Ava. She didn't know what it would be like when Ava finished Evendore, she'd be alone for a few years without her.
"Ooh, that's why I made it! I must have been thinking that before!" Ava squealed. "You figured it out, yay!" She grabbed her pencil and wrote at the top of the page: B...for Best Friends! "I've gotta get more colors to put in the drawing." she said.

"Yay!" Scarlett exclaimed, glancing at what Ava wrote. But then a sudden frown came on her face. "Wait... so you're leaving?" She didn't want her to leave yet. She barely got to see her.
"Hm? Oh, nope, not yet! I'll just have to run to the store later to get the pens! I draw so much, I run out of colors all the time!" Ava laughed. "You know what would be awesome? Sparkly sharpies!" Ava loved to use sharpies, her only problem with them was that most of them blended through the paper. There were kinds that didn't blend through the paper, but they didn't seem to come in the find kind that Ava liked. Just ultrafine.

A smile came on Scarlett's face again. "Ooh! Yes, totally!" she squealed. "You'll be the Sharpie queen!" she giggled.
Ava gasped. "Oh, I love that nickname! I should draw it with sharpies and make it all fancy just like I did for this!" she exclaimed. She turned a couple of pages and started sketching the outline of the words Sharpie Queen.
