Happily Ever After Cafe discussion

Over in a Flash - hopefully will be a reoccurring challenge.

I stole this idea (with permission) from the SOS: Serious Overload of Series group.

Over in a Flash ~ Cover Hunt & Theme Challenge ~

Duration: April 1st through April 30th.

Rules: Choose at least two (2) of the three (3) options below. (Meaning minimum of two books.) Color may be the predominant color of the book, or a “pop” of color that catches your eye. Holidays are explained. Items may be found on the cover, or the word found within the storyline.

Please feel free to post your book covers, dates read, and star ratings.

You may join at any time during the month. Feel free to do all three, or more, if you want.

Member Choosing: Kari has been a GoodReads member since April, 2013, and a participant of Happily Ever After Café since then, too. Her favorite reads are Romance in all subgenres, Historical Fiction, and Suspense/Mystery. Favorite books: Medievals, Highlanders (her comfort reads and top choice), Cowboys, Vikings, Pirates, Bikers, Vampires, Shapeshifters, Musicians, Comedies, Contemporary, anything that makes her think, feel, laugh or cry. She prefers HEA, but if the story is good she’ll give it a try. She loves getting book recommendations, big furry dogs, medieval castles, and sushi!

(2) International Moment of Laughter Day: {April 14th} Read a book depicting someone laughing on the cover. Or one that makes you laugh. (3) Look Up At the Sky Day: {April 14th} Read a book with a whole lot of sky on the cover. (4) U.S. Earth Day: {April 22nd} Read a book with a picture of the earth or globe on the cover. Or one with a predominantly green cover. Or were the main character makes an environmentalist. (5) Lovers Day: {April 23rd} Read a book with a couple on the cover. Or one with the word “Lover” in the title.

ITEMS: April’s Birthstones are diamonds, sapphires, rock crystals. Its flower is the Sweet Pea, Daisy, or Peony. Zodiac Signs are Aries or Taurus. Other cover items are musician, stars, countryside, cowboy, motorcycle, romantic couple, and wedding dress.

Hey friends, I'm not totally sure how to play, but Annie Seaton's latest release, Hot Rock, features a guitar-playing hero on the cover, and a retro-rock-and-roll story.

And the first in my Three River Ranch series features a big Montana sky, plus an environmentalist-hero. The second in the series, His Reluctant Rancher, has hero with an environmentally-sustainable, certified-humane beef ranch.

I'm in! Will post when I figure out what I'm going to read.
