Andrea AKA Catsos Person (catsosperson) | 1635 comments Is anyone interested in a br of The Crusader's Kiss The Crusader's Kiss (The Champions of Saint Euphemia, #3) by Claire Delacroix by Claire Delacroix?

This is one of my books for the series challenge. I listened to audio for Bks 1-2 late last year. I didn’t write reviews for them, but they were quite good.

These books are in KU.

This is book 3 of the Medieval series “Champions of Saint Euphemia.”

Joanna?

Andrea,

Whenever works for you, I should be be able to make it work. I'm pretty busy this weekend but can get started. As far as getting through my current reads go, next weekend may be better, but they're also not grabbing me so I'm good either way.

I’ll begin this evening.

Right now I’ve started Whitney, My Love, which is also a series challenge book.

I’ll read that while there is daylight (hard-copy) and switch to our br title (kindle) as the natural light wanes.

I am not a KU member. However, the book looks interesting; and my library has it. I would be interested in reading with you if you wait a few days to start.

Andrea AKA Catsos Person (catsosperson) | 1635 comments Great Mariana!

I just sent a pm to Kathy Golden.

I’m not ready just yet though.

I’m so envious of your library! You are a luck woman!

Yes, I am. Can't argue that. They have 90% of the books that I want to read.

Hi, Karishma. I didn't enjoy that book, so I won't be joining the BR, but I hope others will join you.

message 228: by Karishma (new)

Karishma (karishmanewar) | 0 comments Okay!
I hope so too.

I'm open to other suggestions also for books I haven't read yet.

I'm looking forward to a HR buddy read.

Karishma,

Missy, Mariana and I just started The Stolen Mackenzie Bride at https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/.... Despite it being #8, you can easily start here in the series because it predates the earlier books by about 150 years.

Loriidae and I will be starting Devil Takes a Bride on the 17th at https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/.... It is number 5 in the series.

You're welcome to join either (as well anyone else)

I really enjoy What Happens in London and will see if I can squeeze it in. I do not like the first in series The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever -- it is my least favorite JQ book by a wide margin. I think I liked the third book ok.

message 232: by Missy (last edited Aug 03, 2018 03:11PM) (new)

Missy | 1477 comments Lol. Joanna, I'm the opposite with that series by JQ. I enjoyed The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever (probably because there's a unrequited love with an childhood friend/acquaintance trope) but I didn't like What Happens in London because I was too nitpicky about a few things.
