Sounds good, Loriidae. It's been half a year since I've joined a BR/BOTM. It'll be nice to discuss books again.
For my RATA challenge, I plan to read Addicted by Charlotte Featherstone for September's Victorian book. Would anyone like to BR with me and Darbella?
Oh wow as interesting as this book sounds it also might kill me. I am soooo intrigued to try it but I really really really don't do angst.
I can do angst only if it is done really well and the book is able to bring me out of my depression. Hopefully this one can.
I don't think I will enjoy reading about the hero's addiction. Maybe if it was another book by Charlotte Featherstone (like, from her House of Rohan series), I might join.
This will be my first book by Charlotte Featherstone. Depending on how I like the writing, I would be open to trying something else by her.

This weekend is good for me, I will be slow as well as I have the paperback and will only read a little in the evenings. Although I have read it so many times I could probably recite it. :)
I haven’t seen anyone in this group who likes bodice rippers.If I had seen anyone here who likes them I would have jumped all over them the way Dino does when Fred Flinstone comes home from work.

For fans of Kelly Bowen, King's novella is out. King has been a mysterious secondary character in several of Bowen's series. We will be starting this weekend.

Thanks Mariana, I will see how my commitments are when you are ready to start. I have been trying a lot of new authors lately.
Susanna Fair with Brazen Hair and I are going to read How to Rescue a Rake in March if anyone else would like to join us. It is the third book in the Book Club Belles Society series by Jayne Fresina.
@Sha,I listened to the audiobook for Captives of the Night by Loretta Chase and didn't enjoy it. I've yet to find another book by LC that's as good as Lord of Scoundrels.

I've tried reading Captives of the Night a couple of times but could never finish it. It does have some good reviews, though.
Missy, I really liked The Last Hellion, which is kind a sequel to Lord of Scoundrels. (about a friend of his). I also enjoyed Don't Tempt Me and Not Quite a Lady.
Thanks, Jan. I've read The Last Hellion and found it okay. I do want to reread it one day and hopefully enjoy it more. Not Quite a Lady has been on my TBR. Just added Don't Tempt Me as a 'might read.'
