@Mariana,
I’m looking at the sample to see if I want to read. It seems to deal w dark subject matter.

I finished the sample. The writing is voluptuous. I’m in. Just 1-clicked it.

Ha, ha. Welcome! :)
Is anybody interested in buddy reading The Wolf and the Dove? I am reading it for my bodice ripper category and think a buddy read might help.

I am here! When do you want to start?

Awesome. I would start this weekend though it won’t be at a quick pace.

Yes I am prepared! But I don’t promise to like it, lol.
For Jonathan’s story, I can post the thread tonight or you are welcome to post also if you want it up sooner.

This weekend is good for me, I will be slow as well as I have the paperback and will only read a little in the evenings. Although I have read it so many times I could probably recite it. :)

If I had seen anyone here who likes them I would have jumped all over them the way Dino does when Fred Flinstone comes home from work.
Yes, welcome Andrea! I read bodice rippers once a year, though I think one I read earlier this year would qualify as well.

Everyone welcome. Please join us. When the Marquess was Mine Discussion

Yes Uvi, I am fairly sure you will be fine. Each book is a separate couple. Any references that you don't understand Joanna and I will do our best to remember.

We will be starting this weekend.

Night of the Scoundrel Discussion
Are there any new buddy reads planned? Just putting the question out there. I will plan on sending the Newsletter in a couple of days.

The first book sets up the town and the group of girls, but I don't think it would be necessary to read first. I did; and Susanna is reading now, which is why we don't plan to start for a week. The cliffhanger prequel is free on Amazon I think of you want to try a taste.

Thanks Mariana, I will see how my commitments are when you are ready to start. I have been trying a lot of new authors lately.

I listened to the audiobook for Captives of the Night by Loretta Chase and didn't enjoy it. I've yet to find another book by LC that's as good as Lord of Scoundrels.
Loriidae and I are going to read The Parfit Knight. The Buddy read thread is here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
All welcome!
All welcome!

I wish to read Winning Miss Wakefield and might start around 20th or so. Let me know if anyone is up for it!

Ah that's sad. I can send you the ebook I have if you wish.

I've tried reading Captives of the Night a couple of times but could never finish it. It does have some good reviews, though.
Missy, I really liked The Last Hellion, which is kind a sequel to Lord of Scoundrels. (about a friend of his). I also enjoyed Don't Tempt Me and Not Quite a Lady.

Do you have some one already reading with you? I can set up a thread if so.

Still looking for a buddy for Wicked and the Wallflower Thanks.

I'm interested but couldn't start right away. Maybe near the end of the month?

About a Rogue Discussion

Great! We usually take our time. :)

is still on sale ($1.99/ €1.37), does anyone want to read it with me? I was a bit hesitant, because lately most HRs I read were let-downs, so I've been avoiding them, but I've heard good things about this one, so I want to give it a chance. Anyone interested in reading it with me?
