Just watched Laura recently. I adored Gene Tierney. Great example of Film Noir.

I adore Shakespeare; Macbeth is one of my favorites; I also love Romeo and Juliette--best film was with Olivia Hussey; and depsite the fact I never cared for Othello, there is an excellent film with Fishburn.
Going back to Film Noire; I imagine Rebecca could be included.
I love The 39 Steps but a big Richard Hannay fan and the great Scotsman John Buchan :)

The original starred Richard Donat. However, Masterpiece Mystery aired one just a few years back too.
YES and Madeline Carroll; anything by Hitchcock was wonderful.

Visited the 26th annual paramount book festival on Sunday and bought almost 20 books! Mostly classics but a couple of Robert Ludlum's too.
