Is this truly your name?
How neat."
Yes it is my real name. I was named after my grandmother and great grandmother.

i haven't read any of those, but Hugh Howey deserves a read. he is an icon for independent authors like me.

These are the ones I have read from your list:
Human Remains 4 stars - very dark and different
Creep 4 stars - very fast read
The Reversal 5 stars - this is actually book number 16 in Connelly's Harry Bosch series, it was actually one of my favorites in the series. You could actually read it without reading the others, unless you are like me and Christine who have to read series in order.

That's quite the book haul! Mystic River by LeHane's one of my favorites, you should enjoy reading it.

I had to take my car in for new tyres the other day and was very well behaved, buying only 5 books at the charity shop along the road.

If you count free e-books, I've got him beat with 35 books.

Yes, 20 books purchased at three Half-Price Bookstores and 15 free E-books from amazon.com. Did that 2 years ago while visiting my mom in Tx, but no way could I do it were I live in Fla and that my Kindle currently full.

Not even close. Sean, you must be grinning ear to ear. CT, does this beat your biggest purchase????

Have 2,342 on it, plus removed another 300+ that are waiting for me to restore too eventually read. I may just pick up a 2nd Kindle, have a couple of co-workers who have done that.
I can't buy ad hoc like that, I tend to buy in logical, chronological order for books I'm going to read IN ORDER!! :0) I guess because I now only ever download I don't feel the need to splurge, unless of course, they're on offer!!

When I purchased the 20 books, 15 were Hard Case Crime books various authors, 3 were Westerns from Peter Brandvold, 1 from Frank Leslie and 1 from Jory Sherman. That was all luck, since if they didn't have HCC books, would only have had the five Westerns and had been looking for them.
I was talking generally and the way Sean buys!! Madness!
Though I know if I worked in a bookstore I'd have a library at home!! I LOVE bookstores! I have to steer clear!!!
