Sandysbookaday (taking a midwinter break) (sandyj21) | 5101 comments Ahhh Christine...didn't i tell you I've moved??????? Oh darn! I may have to now! And I am listening to #2 in Catherine Aird's Inspector Sloane series, without having read/listened to #1.
I may have to appeal to Amnesty International at this rate! 8:D

message 760: by Lavada (new)

Lavada (kraftyvada) | 436 comments ok my phone will not type tonight you will just have to read between the lines!
Ter'e and Sandra I gotta admit I have to also read in order (if I know its a series before I read it)! I requested one at a time, in order on Karin's Grant County series from the library and downloaded Linda's in order. in fact on this months buddy read Laura had picked Da Vinci Code but said that Angels and Demons was first which I didnt even know was a series so read it!

Sandy!! How can you not??!!! It's just wrong!!! :-D

message 764: by Ian (new)

Ian Moore (httpgoodreadscomiandmoore) Couple of Indie author books I just got (and am making a start on) The first Angels Blood by Sallyann Phillips which is going well, and then after I'll get going with Caught Up by M. Lemont which looks very intriguing indeed. I'm broadening my reading horizons somewhat ;')

Christine (clt04) | 4838 comments You all listen to Janet now.

Sandysbookaday (taking a midwinter break) (sandyj21) | 5101 comments Janet wrote: "Sandy!! How can you not??!!! It's just wrong!!! :-D"

It is usually only when i discover an author and enjoy the book that i find out afterwards it is #? in a series....then I am a good girl and go back and start at the beginning of the series.......8:D

I'm wanting to read all books by Chelsea Cain. What page turners.

Well make sure you read them in order or Christine will be after you too! 8:D
I haven't read any Chelsea Cain yet - a pleasure yet to come.

Janet is Christine's daughter and I am Christine's sister. I also buy in order because I will only read in order. Only time I don't buy in chronological order is when I'm at the Salvation Army or any second hand store where books are 10 cents to $1.

message 772: by Dawn (new)

Dawn G | 692 comments Janet, you are in for some great reading based on the books you have listed above. One Kick was very different from Cain's other books. I absolutely love Chris Carter's books. They are voilent and pretty graphic but I'm not putt off by that kind of stuff.

Ok, Sandy, listen up! You have to go to Goodreads and find out just where a book falls in order of the series BEFORE you start reading it! This usually works well.
