Look up Chelsea Cain on here........I think there might be 6 books......
I'm on a brand new laptop.......o]and not too proficient on this one yet. Its my first LAPTOP.

I'm familiar with 'Paris Trout' by the same author, but that's about it. They all look very interesting & all the stories are entirely different from each other. Worth a look, i think.

Like the look of 'Squid Pulp Blues' in particular. And FREE!! It's a win-win:)

Yes Janet. Blacklands is the 1st book. Two separate series.

Damn that oneclickitis!!"
But you are lucky Janet, living in UK as Belinda's books are not easy to get hold of in Canada from Amazon.ca. The two that I just ordered I ordered through another source, where you have to pay shipping.

Currently no. When I plan to keep the series, I buy it in paperback format.

Haven't read anything by Mo Hayder yet...but I am sure I will.
I'm soooo drowning in books (albeit ebooks!!) I can't remember if I mentioned the following two approvals via Netgalley!
A couple of really good debuts apparently
and
, hopefully they're good!

I totally understand. 7 authors contacted me over Christmas, and asked if I would read their book, and I put them off until Jan, plus I have 3 books to read from Netgalley...plus all my stacks of great books here to read. I UNDERSTAND drowning.
Sue

Thank you for the support Dawn. appreciate it. happy to break through the all trad authors being discussed :)
I requested earlier and was approved Belinda Bauer's latest yet to be released

Freaking love the cover, too. :)

Thanks for that info Pat, as it isn't that easy to get UK books, or really expensive. I will check it out.

That book is in my On Deck Circle shelf. Unfortunately, it's been there for too long.

All of John Connolly's books are great. His writing has a poetic style to it.
I strongly recommend his books. I mentioned them several months back :)

I must have been sleeping when you mentioned this......or it didn't register.
Gosh, the books look awesome.

Perri:
I keep a detailed spreadsheet that lists the books that I have read, the author, when I read it, the genre, and if I liked it, if I own it or downloaded it, or checked it out at our library. I know. Too much detail. But it sucks to get home from the library and start reading a book only to discover that you have already read it.

Ter'e:
Yes. I have read Every Dead Thing. I really like John Connolly and his character Charlie Parker. However, TBA, it is a dark series. I have also read Dark Hollow, The Killing Kind, and Black Angel. I liked them all. Black Angel took me strange turns but still was good. You definitely want to start out with Every Dead Thing and then Dark Hollow. After that, I do not believe that it matters. Charlie Parker is a good PI detective character development. And the stories are like no other. Enjoy them.

I ordered EDT yesterday. I will start at the beginning.
These look like they might be some great, entertaining books!!
I've been approved today
on Netgalley. A recommendation from Elaine, looked quite interesting so I went for it!
I also need to stop boxsetting until the early hours and pick up my reading. TV show Brothers and Sisters is what I'm trawling through at the mo.
