Literally all of my reading for the last couple of weeks has been from NetGalley. Trying to get that rating up!

Christine (clt04) | 4838 comments Good for you, Kerry. I'm doing the same. I had a major loss of control with my requests over the last month, so now I'm trying to make up for it!

Kerry Hunter (kerryelizabeth) I did just buy The Bees by Laline Paull on Kindle because it was a bargain at £1.99 and it looks SO different and interesting. Written with the main character as a bee. Weird.

@Cameron - I have not read Anne Tyler and I'm trying to read some 'famous' authors I've not gotten around to. This used book was like new and only $8. Seemed like a deal.

All paper :)

I'm actually going to save myself some money this year by only buying paper, I think. I can get a bit trigger happy with the (too) handy one-click and those suckers mount up! Plus, with a paper pile I'm hoping it will guilt me into actually reading them if they're winking at me from the shelves, instead of just collecting them :)

message 1772: by Gopal (new)

Gopal (gopaliyer) | 482 comments Wow Chris, that's quite a spree.

I restrict myself by avoiding book store and disabling one-click in Amazon, knowing me I just won't be to help myself.

April's book, House of Silk, might be more interesting since it's gonna be a reread for me.
