Wow! That was a pretty good trade! I hope your dad wasn't too upset. ;>)

If that happened I would know it wasn't really my mom. She's the one who turned me on to Shakespeare and even Giovanni Boccaccio.

You mean the Disney movie Treasure Planet?

I'm going to keep trying at it, since I paid for it, but I don't know if I'll make it through. :-/
So, instead, I'm reading "Deadly Messengers" for our group!

Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption
Finding Laura Buggs
Eat, Pray, Love

At least stop buying Patterson.

Reading one Patterson won't kill you but his books are so formulaic that if you have read one, you may as well have read them all.

Ha Ha Ha Tom! You funny.

Wow, Lisa. You really know how to hall them in. I, too, picked up Trail of Broken Wings. And, I also found Steinbeck's Cannery Row to be a very good book.

I'm seeing a lot of favourable stuff about David Videcettte's book, The Thesus Paradox. I've just downloaded it and am hoping it's going to live up to the hype! :)
Oh, and it's on offer until Monday. 99p folks!

I downloaded this earlier today. I got in on high recommendation from a good friend. Sounds like a very hard hitting read but it got me intrigued. I'm going to exercise caution because I may end up hating it.

Just bought The Cry by Helen Fitzgerald for 99p. Amazon currently has a Spring sale on. The Ice Twins is on offer too if anyone hasn't read it yet. Check out the sale. :)

Will just pass on to my daughter. Grrrrrrrr made at me for making the mistake........hating it when "the powers that be" do this.
I should have moved slower and been smarter!!!!

Wow! Great choices!

since I am still the last poster, I am adding: Lie In Wait and Shark Attacks: Terrifying True Accounts Of Shark Attacks Worldwide I bought the latter because it was cheap sitting out there by the register when I was in line at Walmart. I always like to read about animal attacks and survivors and not.

Anxious to finish my latest book.........and then start this one. It looks like a great break.
(Jean and Christine) I am actually working in the hooking room today. I wish you could see the piles and piles of wool in front of me. Wish you two were here to help fold!!!!! I am color sorting.
I need a glass of wine!!!!!!! No, make that a bottle!!!!
