Hi Cosmos,
I've just started reading The Girl on the Train. I'm really enjoying it. I'm definitely going to see the film when I've finished.

I bought this is paperback. I've wanted to read this for a while, and excited that it should be here tomorrow.

I finally found a copy of Phillip K. Dick's 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' at my local Giant Tiger of all places.

I also bought 'Neuromancer' by William Gibson--a novel I've been wanting to read for a long time. Excited to read it now that I finally have it.

Included on this list is 'Brave New World' by Aldous Huxley. I don't know much about it but I see it referenced quite frequently when people describe the direction our world is going in terms of freedom and security.

Last but not least is 'H.P. Lovecraft: The Complete Collection With Accompanying Facts', which I'm very much looking forward to reading. It was up for an unbelievable 99 cents, too! What a find!

Got all of these on my phone, too. And to think, I hated the idea of having an Android once upon a time.
.....Still kind of do, but now for less reasons. ;)

Jim,
Anything written by Greg Iles is simply "the best ride". One of my very favorite authors.

Thank you Ter'e. I have picked 2 or 3 of his books on sale now and am looking forward to checking them out.

Be sure to read the Penn Cage (The Bone Tree) series in order. If you don't, you'll miss their unique personalities and back stories.
Be sure to let us know how much you, hopefully, enjoy the books.

Death Penalty by William J Coughlin
Fracture by Helene Hammersley
Remorseless by Will Patching
I already have this book, but its on sale today on Amazon:
The Atlas of Us by Tracy Buchanan
And received in the mail today:
Devour by L. A. Larkin
Someone Else's Wedding by Tamar Cohen
Looking forward to reading those this weekend.

You will devour all of them this weekend???? Good night......that is a read-a-thon for sure.
Good choice of books, btw.

Do get new books, all the time.
It just does not feel like I am buying a book, when I buy a kindle on Amazon or get a free book on book bub (or 99p).

Same here, Sean. I'm always forgetting to list my new purchases. One I did download yesterday was The Ice Princess by Camilla Lackberg. A series I've not started yet!

I positively love BookBub.

I find Kindle's great for downloading a sample to read and see if I'm tempted but once I've decided, I've come to realise that I prefer to hold a real book. The whole reading experience is so much more satisfying!

Are any of you KM fans????

the Green Mile
Full Dark, no Stars
New books make me happy :D"
Loved Green Mile. Let me know if Full is good. I've never even heard of it!

I saw it at my local library and loved it. It features all those collective nouns for animals. Like a parade of elephants and a smack of jellyfish!

Just picked up "A Time of Torment" by John Connolly, his latest in the Charlie Parker series. Very excited to get into this book as he's easily my favourite author.
Jason

Side note: For a while I lived in Doylestown, PA ... home of Michener. My brother told me he once had Michener for a substitute teacher.
