Ter'e Crow Lindsay (terecrow) | 798 comments All righty........
After leaving Lowe's yesterday, we had about 15 minutes to kill before Godzilla started at the theater. So (casually) I ask......would it be ok if I ran into Goodwill Books and looked to see if they had gotten any David Baldacci books in? I told him I would look quick and take 5 minutes! My hubs is not a reader.
Well, the shelves were loaded, and there I was without my booklist (cusses under breath). GRRRRR
Luckily I grabbed a basket and threw books as fast as I could!!!!! Here is what I got:

Lisa Gardner - Love You More
Mo Hayder - The Treatment

The rest are DB - Hour Game
Deliver Us From Evil
One Summer
The Collectors
The Sixth Man
Hell's Corner

Then one of the book guys came and handed me a $5 coupon. Apparently I can use the $5 coupons that Goodwill offers each week. I had no idea they were usable in their Bookstore as well. He told me that next week, on Saturday only, they are having a 25% off sale. Off everything!!!!!!! Plus, if I spend $60, I can get $15 off!!!!! Now, my book wad has already been spent for the month of May, but it is hubs and my 34th Ann'y.......so I know he will not care if I run in the bookstore again.
Can you spell H E A V E N ?????????
Did I do good???? All this for $20.16.

No, but I wouldn't mind visiting Northern Ireland. Guess I'll just keep dreaming. Ireland is my country of destination on my bucket list, but alas, it is out of reach for me, my finances, the US and my health.

Do you have the GOODWILL in Canada??? Typically, their books are $2.99 and you can coupon shop. Print your discount coupons online.

K.L. Randis (klrandis) PILLBILLIES #drugabuse #thriller #NewRelease

I have a new release that is a mystery/thriller that is now out! Pillbillies

When paramedics discover three-year-old Lacey floating in the bathtub and Jared Vorcelli barely conscious in his parents’ living room, his addiction is put into the limelight and his pill-pushing days as a Kingpin of the Pocono Mountains come to a screeching halt. Grief stricken once he’s out of prison and rehab, Jared plans to relocate with longtime girlfriend, Tina DeHaven, to wash himself of the drug-riddled town.

But Dex has other plans when he meets Jared.
Lucrative plans. Plans that keep Jared pushing pills, hunting down dealers he blames for Lacey’s death and on the verge of relapse.

message 248: by Huma (new)

Huma | 29 comments Do books gifted to you count? I went to a mall near the coast today with my brother and he finally decided to buy me a birthday present. I initially wanted to get a boxed set of the Mortal Instruments series, but the box and the individual books were both unavailable here. He asked me to pick my own assortment and this is what I picked:

- Dark Places and Sharp Objects, both by Gillian Flynn. I read her Gone Girl and want to read if her other books have the same magic.

- Stone Cold by David Baldacci, the 3rd book in the Camel Club series

- Murder in Mesopotamia by Agatha Christie. I'm pretty sure that I have read this one at least twice. But the other day when I was dusting my bookshelf, I saw that I was only 7 short of having a complete Hercule Poirot collection. Now I only have 6 more to buy!

- Karachi, You're Killing Me! by Saba Imtiaz. A book about my hometown, the debut book of a a local Karachiite journalist. I'm really curious about this one.
