Chasing Darkness, i have to warn you, I didn't find that exciting compared to his other books.

Marian, Field of Prey has been my favorite book so far in 2014. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Ter'e, Demolition Angel is my second favorite Crais book after Suspect. Then I would say The Two Minute Rule would be next. I would rather pick up a stand-alone book because if I really liked it, I don't feel like I have to go out and buy the rest of the series because there are no others.

You are much more disciplined than me. Once I discover a new author......I want to read everything.......the good and bad.
I have one more of Chris Mooney's books and then I will have read his thrillers.

Field of Prey is one of the best Sanford has written. Lucas Davenport is one super dude.

I also have the last two in the Game of Throne series to read before next season starts.

Yes he is, especially with a little Virgil Flowers on the side!

I heard there was a new Goodwill in Bradenton, so I had to stop. I am a sucker for a GW! Maybe you don't want to know that ----- but I have a ball going in there.
I was bad.
I bought three books: James Rollins' The Last Oracle, Barry Eisler's Requiem for an Assassin, and Gregg Olsens Closer Than Blood.
Terrific!!!!!

That was very restrained of you Ter'e. I have been known to come out with two bags full........

Gosh, I need to read faster.

Oh my gosh........Greg Iles' books simply rock. Pure entertainment.

Just bought a Kindle yesterday so am going to download all his books.

Gretchen Lowell is the wonderful antagonist in Heartsick by Chelsea Cain. Highly recommended series, and author.
Greg Iles stands in a class reserved only for the VERY best authors. (like Thomas Harris). Devour everything Greg Iles writes.
David Baldacci I just don't rate at all.
Jeff Abbott is okay. (Better off reading Joseph Finder, for example)
Just my opinion :)
Never tried Richard Montanari, so I'll be sure to look him up.

I have Chelsea Cain on my TBR list.
Love Greg Iles.
Like you I don't rate David Baldacci.
Have read a couple of Jeff Abbotts - can take or leave them.
Haven't read Joseph Finder so will keep a look out for him.
But have just downloaded all the Montanari books onto my Kindle so I can start from the beginning.
Happy reading!

Nope :) Start wherever you like with Joseph Finder. See what subject matter grabs your attention--if any.
I also like Peter Abrahams ... okay, liked is more accurate since he only seems to write for kids now. I liked A Perfect Murder, The Tutor, with him.
Unlike Greg Iles, both of the above authors probably appeal to a "less broader" market, but more to my tastes :)

Gretchen Lowell is the female lead in Chelsea Cain's "Heartsick". omg, this book kept me on my toes...........cringing.
Like you........I positively love Greg Iles. Cannot wait to read "Natchez Burning".
I have gone back to reading a Robert Crais book. Just discovered his work and I love him too.
So many new authors to me..........I am in heaven.

It was better than Christmas. I am so excited.
I am such a cheap date. LOL.
This is so crazy........for MY birthday, I bought my oldest dau a Acer Tablet. Now I can bookshare. (Soon as I figure out how to do it). I send her all my hardback and paperbacks anyhow, once I am finished........so now, I can share my downloaded books as well. She is thrilled......and I, as a mommy, am thrilled as well.
Life will be so much easier once we move to MO. Waiting for "the right family" to walk thru my home.

What a lovely surprise for you!
Good luck with finding the right family......have just been through all that, sold our home and moved into town into a rental in March. Just need to sell the business now.....
Sandra,
