Harold Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is an alternate take on Book 1. The goal was to aim at a slightly older audience (PG-13), so that certain themes could be treated in more depth than in the original: the long-term effects of abuse and trauma, the moral implications of homicide, etc.

The alternate version is 125,000 words. I'm hoping I can find a few beta readers to provide honest (but preferably tactful) feedback.
